Harry walks in the great hall and sighs,
"where is everyone?"
he then sits on the Gryffindor table to wait.

Rose drags her feet as she enters the Great Hall for breakfast. She is not a morning person.
She walks over the the empty Hufflepuff table, muttering, "Where the heck is Tonks?"
Then she sees some fresh bacon, and suddenly she's starving.

Griffin lead Neko to the Slytherin table and sat down beside each other. He looked at the table with all the different foods everywhere. "What'll you have?" he asked Neko.

Neko sat down and looked up and down the table. "I'm not sure..." She said, pouring herself a glass of pumpkin juice.

"I think I'll start with some pancakes," Griffin said as he reached across the table. He looked over at Neko. "Did'ya see the House standing?" he asked, grinning.

Neko nodded happily. "We're doing really well!" She said sounding excited and eating a crepe.

Griffin smiled and dug into some pancakes. "So," he said in between bites, "what do you want to do on St. Valentines Day?"

Neko began taking small, dainty bites of her crepes. "I wouldn't know. I've never really celebrated it." She said, thinking about it.

When Rose had finished with her breakfast, and still no Tonks was to be seen, she sighed. It was quite boring being at the table alone.
Her eyes drifted over the rest of the Hall. She sighed when she saw the house standings. Hufflepuff was in last place.
Then her eyes landed on the Slytherin table. Neko was there. Maybe she could go talk to her.
Rose - uh, rose - from the table and slowly walked over to the Slytherin table. Even though she was on friendly terms with a few Slytherins, you never knew.
"Hey, Neko," said Rose when she go to the table. "Can I sit here?"

"Me neither." Griffin admited. He looked to see a Hufflepuff approaching the table. He looked at the girl confused. "Why would a Hufflepuff come over to the Slytherin table?", he wondered quietly to himself.

Neko looked up at Rose and then looked up and down the Slytherin table. "Well, I'm not sure. Are you allowed to sit at other houses' tables?" She asked.
She looked over at Griffin. "What do you think?"

He shrugged. "I don't know." He leaned closer to Neko so only she could hear him. "What if Draco or Pansy saw? I don't think they would be too happy, but other than that I don't see no reason why she couldn't."
He backed away and moved his plate to the side and pulled out a blank piece of parchment and scribbled a quick note. He stood up. "Hey Neko, I just have to run to the owlery real quick. I'll be back in the Great Hall before you can say 'Salazar Slytherin'." He kissed her forehead and ran out of the Great Hall.

"You're right, they probably wouldn't be too happy... but... oh well. You can sit here." She told Rose.
She tilted her head in confusion as she saw Griffin take out the parchment and run off. "I wonder what that was..."

Rose took their conversation as a "Yes" and sat down next to Neko in Griffin's seat.
"Who's that, Neko? You you two, like, togehter?"
