Arya threw her lightly-bitten off bread back in the basket. It was gross. "No," she quietly said. She shook her head, no, she had to tell him! " I miss you!" Arya said a little louder.

Kiba raised an eyebrow and tilted his head. "I'm right here?" he said, confused. "Why do you miss me?"

Arya grumbled. Why did Kiba have to make things so difficult? "Because I liked you and after that whole, 'oh I'm halfblood' thing everything got messed up," Arya crossed her arms and pouted, looking away from Kiba.

Kiba didn't know what to say to the girl. He nibbled the bread a little more. "Maybe someday, things will change, but for now I think we should just be friends," Kiba said slowly. He wasn't sure if that would cheer Arya up, but he didn't need anyone crying at this time of night.

Arya shook her head and groaned, "you didn't have to bring up dating or anything, by relationship I meant a relationship in general you don't have to say blah blah bl-" Arya stopped herself and she took a deep breath. Arguing was not the best for now. "I hope everything is well with you and the person you are talking to," Arya forced a smile but sincerely meant well for Kiba's happiness. "See you tomorrow at midnight" Arya said to Kiba and blew him a kiss and a wave before walking off in the darkness.

Kiba watched Arya leave. He raised one arm and pretended to catch the kiss that she had sent him. Kiba looked at his closed hand. "Does she still like me?" he asked himself. Opening his hand, the Slytherin boy pretended to place the kiss on his lips. Kiba sighed and shook his head. "I should go back to the Common Room." Footsteps echoed in the darkness as he walked away.
