After Blake had left,Lily felt that she should just leave the great hall after having a feast. Thus,she got up,"Bye boys. See you later in the common room." She said and left the great hall,intending to search for Jake.

Despite the late (early?) time of night, curfew would not stop Arya from getting a midnight snack. She was starving and she needed to walk on her legs after her fall. The common rooms were near the kitchens so it wasn't that far of a walk. Arya held her wand close to her chest. The great hall was scary at night. She hoped nobody would come out and scare her.

Kiba's stomach growled. He moved silently through the Great Hall hoping to get something to eat. With any luck, he wouldn't run into any troublesome prefects.

Arya heard footsteps and she turned to her right, debating rather or not to use lumos to see. Arya stayed still and bit her bottom lip, hoping it wasn't a professor or prefect.

Kiba continued on his quest for food. He saw a familiar figure in front of him. Although it was dark, he was relatively certain that it was a certain Hufflepuff girl. He hesitated a moment, then decided to say something. "Arya, is that you?" Kiba crossed his fingers, praying he wasn't wrong. If it was a prefect, he was dead meat.

"Ki-Kiba?" Arya jumped back and dropped her wand. "Yea- it's uh, me," Arya bent over to pick up her wand and stood up straight. She looked around to make sure nobody else was nearby. Arya balanced on her tip toes then back to her heels, "umm..." she was at a lost for words, their meeting was awkward. "How... are you?"

Kiba nodded. "It was no big deal," he said sheepishly. Kiba scratched his head. "Soooo....Want to get some food together then?" he asked Arya.

"Er, sure," Arya replied, "nobody should eat alone," she said. Arya could feel her stomach turn inside out. Being near Kiba was so weird after what happened.

Arya walked near the kitchen doors and knelt down and looked up at Kiba, "as recovered as I can be," she said before opening a small door where house elves could fit but humans could not, "thank you for asking," she said and opened it, a light shining though. She peeked her head in and found a house elf and asked for any left over food. Arya soon brought her head back out and stood up, trying to balance with the food in her hand, "it's not much... it looks like..." Arya peeked in and grabbed what was in the basket and frowned, "raisin bread."

Kiba pretended to choke. "GACK! I think I'd rather starve," he admitted at the sight of the raisin bread. His stomach growled loudly. "On second thought, let me have a bit," Kiba said, reaching his hand out for a piece.

"Raisin bread isn't my favorite either," Arya said and took a bite of the bread she had in her hands. She held the basked out with her other hand. "I miss you, Kiba," Arya said quietly, looking away from the Slytherin boy.

Kiba plucked a slice of bread from the basket. He inspected the bread thoroughly before hesitantly taking a bite. "Did you say something?" Kiba questioned with bread still in his mouth.
