Nathanson. -Nods to the newcomer and pauses- What is up with all the females coming in and flopping down ungracefully- and what's on your mind Nathanson? You look like Peeves got into your knickers.
-Snorts- Bugger off, Pans. You kicked me, and I have a right to defend my honor. What if you kicked my jewels? There goes my chances at having an heir.

"I'm still trying to figure out how Hufflepuff can possibly have thirty points already..." Neko said, shivering at the thought of Peeves getting into anyone's knickers.

Well the Eagles and Badgers are well ahead. I've already won five points for our house, and as soon as the Muggle Studies woman grades my work for her, we should have more. -stretches slightly and looks around-
And to those present in the common room, there'll be a discussion over Quidditch Through the Ages by Kennilworthy Whisp on Sunday the 14th. I suggest every one read up and be prepared to win more house points.

I hope we all plan to participate. I for one won't be labeled lower than any of the other houses. We're predators, and as such, we should place ourselves as number one in this food chain.

Glaces over at Nathanson and turns to Wormwood. "Don't worry about the Puffs. It's not as though they have any brains in their heads to maintain it."

-Strategically moves away from Pansy and her legs, settling himself down in a single-person armchair- My name is Draco, Pansy. Not "ickle Drakey," but then again, you seem to have difficulty remembering things. Sure you're in the right house? Or maybe the hat should have placed you with Longbottom.
But you have a point about the Hufflesods, though they're too timid to step a toe out of line. They won't be losing points any time soon.

Ah, well, I heard somewhere "they're particularly good finders," though it escapes me where that came from.. Hm.. Ah, it's of no consequence.
