Slytherin Common Room

[Neko Wormwood]

"Don't apologize." Neko said. "At least it gives us something to talk about. I don't mind it when other people rant because I know I do it alot too."

[Draco Malfoy]

Draco entered the common room with an emotionless mask in place. He felt the need to announce himself to the common room.

"My name is Draco Malfoy, son of Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy (née Black), heir of the Malfoy estate, and a descendant of the Noble and Most Ancient House of Black."
He nodded over to the two present students, placing their names with their faces, "Black, Wormwood, remember to be wary of who you befriend here at Hogwarts. Some of us at this school don't have the means of making it in the world. You wouldn't want to end up the same way, would you?"

[Neko Wormwood]

Neko looked up to see that Draco had entered the common room. For some reason she had a strange feeling in her stomach and her hands went cold. All she could do was stare. Eventually she realized she was being rude by staring. She looked down at her feet, gripping the locket around her neck.

[Pansy Parkinson]

Pansy enters the common room. Looking around the room she decides to sit in front of the fire. Flopping down, she takes the large sofa for herself, naturally.

[Draco Malfoy]

Did someone hit you with a Langlock, Wormwood? You do realize you are a witch.
Pansy, where have you been? -walks over and gingerly sits on the edge of the large sofa-

Neko looked down again, embarassed. "Um, sorry..." She said, not exactly sure what it was she was apologizing for. She just thought it sounded like a good thing to say.

[Pansy Parkinson]

Smirks up at Draco. "What does it matter to you? Bored without someone of your -" Looks at the other two in the room, "worth to entertain you?"

[Draco Malfoy]

-Turns away from Pansy to regard Neko indifferently- How is it someone so soft-spoken like yourself made it into this house? You do realize you need an exterior of rock to survive in the real world, right? As a Slytherin, you must dominate the room or be close to doing so. We're ambitious survivors, not sniveling Gryffindor students. Tell me, Wormwood, what is your lineage?

[Neko Wormwood]

Neko looked up, realizing he was right. "My family is pureblood. Slytherin as far back as anyone can remember. Excuse me if I don't come off as your ideal Slytherin. I was simply being quiet because I had nothing to say."

[Draco Malfoy]

So you're not a timorous lion after all, eh Wormwood? I think I can grow to like you. -sticks my hand out- Draco. Draco Malfoy.

[Neko Wormwood]

Neko took his outstretched hand. "Yes, I know very well who you are. And considering you keep using my name I guess you know who I am as well but I suppose I'll say it anyway. Neko Wormwood. Nice to meet you."

[Pansy Parkinson]

Kicks Draco. "If you are going to pay more attention to her you can get off my sofa."

[Draco Malfoy]

-sneers at Pansy- Parkinson, you bloody well watch who you're kicking or you'll wake up to something unpleasant, other than the sight of your ugly mug.
-Gently shakes Neko's hand before letting go- Ms. Wormwood, a pleasure. And just so you know, I make it a point to commit Slytherin house student names to my memory. If know know who is who, it is easier to navigate yourself accordingly. There's also the possibility of becoming a Prefect, and what kind of Prefect would I be if I didn't know my own house members?
Off topic, have you done the preliminary work for your classes?

Neko smirked and chuckled a bit at Draco's comment to Pansy but soon lost the smirk. "Preliminary work?" She paused for a moment. "Um... not yet but I will definitely get to it."

Rolls eyes. "Draco, you know perfectly well you don't scare me. I thought you'd stop trying by now."

Turns attention. "Oh and by the way Wormwood, you don't bother me as much as I thought you might."
