Griffin stared at her for a moment before talking. "Well... allegedly. My mother claims that.. Sirius Black is my father. If this is true or not," he shrugged, "I don't know."

Griffin shook his head. "I doubt he does. I mean, the Black family tree shows that Sirius never had any children... Well," he paused, "that they knew of."
He sighed and got up walking slowly with his head down. "I don't know if he is my father or not. I mean, I hope he is, just because that would mean more pureblood inside of me but, I really don't know." He sighed again. "Anyways..."

Griffin nodded. "Well my mother is pureblood, so even if Black turns out not to be my father, I'm still at least half-blood." He quickly regretted saying this. "I mean, I hope my father was pureblood too. Hell, he has to be right? If I'm in Slytherin."
He sunk his hands back into his pockets, looking for the golden cat that he had pulled out earlier.

Pansy eyed him. "It's appalling some of the people that are getting into Slytherin these days. If i were you I'd leave that bit about a half-blood out but of course that's up to you."

"Let me make this clear," Griffin said coldly looking at Pansy, "I would choose to be pureblood. No, I know I'm pureblood. I can feel it running through me. Don't think for one second that I'm not worthy of being in Slytherin."
He sat back down on the chair with his arms crossed, a dirty look across his face. "Whether or not Black is my real father or not, I know that I am pureblood."

Pansy smiled at the outburst. "That's more like it. Well done," she said standing from the sofa and stretching. "I'm off to the dormitories now. See you around, Black." Pansy floated out of the common room.

Griffin walks into the common room yawning and sits on a chair near the fireplace and looks over at Malfoy drifting off.

Neko stumbled into the common room, still wearing her pajamas. She looked around and realized there were already people in the common room. Hoping they didn't notice her, she darted back to the girls' dorm to get properly dressed.

Griffin noticed Neko and was about to say good morning before she disappeared into the girl's dormitories. He slumped back down into his seat sleepily.
