Neko grabbed her violin and headed to the dormitory.

Griffin closed the book suddenly and looked up. "Hey Neko wait up!" He jumped up and walked over to her, trying to catch her before she went into the girl's dormitories.

Draco, tired, reached for the blanket still draped on the arm of the couch. He laid down on his side and decided to close his eyes for only a moment and ended up ultimately falling asleep for the night.

Griffin realized he had missed her and sighed. He walked over and sat down in a seat near Elinor, staring into the fire.

Griffin looked over at Elinor. "Oh, I'm fine. Thank you though," he said and gave a weak smile. "How are you?"

Griffin nodded. "Yes, she did. I didn't see her much today though. Although, I must say, when I did, something was off about her." He shrugged and added, "Maybe it just wasn't her best day."

"You sure you're alright?" Griffin asked, seeing that something was on her mind.
"Well I've already done my preliminary assignment for Transfiguration. I'm going to start my others soon. How about you?"

Griffin looked at her, wondering why she was acting odd. He looked over at the fireplace again. "Yes, I saw that," he said. "Now let's just make sure we stay there."

Griffin grinned. "Of course we do." He looked over at her. "Oh really? Quidditch player eh?"

Griffin looked over Elinor. "I don't know. Guess we'll see out on the pitch eh?" he said.
He turned to look at a new student who had entered. "Um hello there," he called out to her.

Draco shifted on the couch and mumbled under his breath, brows furrowed slightly. The creases of his face smoother again after moments, for deep sleep had returned.

Griffin watched Elinor approach the newcomer and followed behind her, looking to introduce himself as well. "Griffin Black," he said from behind. "Pleasure to meet you. Transfer student you say?"

Griffin arched his eye-brows. "Interesting, American. Well Miss Summers and Miss Darling, I will abide you two good night. I'm going to bed. G'night you two." He shot a look at Draco sleeping on the couch then groggily stumbled over to the boy's dormitories.

Griffin came down into the common room and sat in the chair nearest the fireplace, and gazed into the fire silently. Before he knew it he had fallen asleep in the chair.

Neko entered the common room to see that both Draco and Griffin were asleep. "Why do they always sleep down here? Are their beds haunted or something?" She asked herself, taking a seat on the floor in front of the fireplace.
