Draco returned, out of breath, but grinning. He looked to see the new comer who he had nearly run over on his exit. Quietly, Draco approached and ran through the list of names through his head before he matched her face to one, "Ms. Darling. A pleasure." He offered her a hand.

Griffin covered the book. "Neko, it's just uh..." He sighed and slowly uncovered the book.

Griffin looked at Neko and blushed, holding out Twelve Fail-Safe Ways to Charm Witches. "My mum got it for me," he said, trying to give her an innocent smile.

Griffin flustered and looked back and forth between Neko and Elinor. "It's just some light reading okay?! Nothing more." He looked down at the book, not opening it and just kind of stared at it's cover.

Pansy returned to the common room looking rather disheveled after an encounter with Peeves and mumbling to herself. She see's Draco and smiles before saying, "I loathe that poltergeist!" She turned, walking off to her room.

Griffin smiled and looked back up at Neko. "Oh thanks he said," trying not to smile too much. "So do you think I should get rid of this book?"

"Well, I don't think you really need it." She said. "But I guess it's your decision." She yawned and rubbed her eyes. "Sorry to leave you hanging, but I think it's about time I get to bed. Good night."

"Ah.. Ms. Darling. I was on my way to deliver a reply to a letter I had sent out earlier." Draco replied to Elinor, distracted by Pansy's sudden appearance. "It was a very good letter.." Snapping out of his slightly gone state, Draco turned back to Elinor, "Anyhow. Always good to meet another snake, yes. If you do not know, I am Draco Malfoy, and am available to a snake in need at almost any time."
Draco tilted his head slightly and retreated to the couch near the fireplace, folding his hands over his lap pensively.

Griffin looked at Neko. "Alright. Good night," he said smiling a little and cracked open the book and began to read.
