Neko had been daydreaming while watching the fire. She had been so enthralled in her daydream in fact that she hadn't even noticed Elinor had been in the common room until she heard the door of the Girls' Dormitory close.

Griffin awoke slowly. He couldn't believe he had actually fallen asleep in the common room. He checked his pocket to make sure the bag with the small golden cat was there. When he felt it he sighed lightly in relief. He looked around the common room and saw Draco still asleep and Neko sitting nearby the fireplace. He got up and moved slowly and quietly to the boy's dormitory to change, hoping that Neko wouldn't notice him.

Neko sat up, startled by another dream. She had aparently fallen asleep on the common room floor. She looked around and realized that Griffin had dissapeared but Draco was still asleep. "Looks like my dream didn't come true. That's good." She said to herself.

Griffin walked into the common room yawning and saw Neko still by the fireplace. He walked over to her and sat next to her. "Good morning Neko," he said, and kissed her on the cheek, hoping she wouldn't find it rude of him.

Pansy found herself in the common room. She noticed Draco asleep on the chair. "Doesn't that boy know how to sleep in his bed?" she asked shaking her head. Turning her attention to the other two in the room. "Good morning, Black, Wormwood."

Griffin turned to see Pansy. "Morning Parkinson. Looks like Draco fell asleep on the couch again eh?"

"Mmmm, so it would seem. He has a perfectly good bed. I'll never understand some people. Finished with your assignments? I saw you working on them yesterday," she said sitting herself into a chair.

"Yes, there were fairly simple," she said with a shrug. "Of course I didn't bother with that stupid Muggle Studies woman. Who cares about Muggles? I don't understand why anyone would find anything about them anything but boring," she added.

Griffin shrugged. "Well if we know them better then well, the most powerful weapon is knowledge right?" he grinned.
He looked back at Neko and smiled. "Hey Neko, want to get some breakfast?"

Griffin smiled and helped Neko up and walked out of the common room. He reached for her hand slowly but hesitantly.
