Luna had been sitting down for about 45 minutes staring intently at a roll of parchment, taking notes every so often. she abruptly got up and started walking to the owlery to send in her potions homework to Professor Snape.

Effy headed down from the Girls Common Room, her Potions things in hand. She sat down at the table under the window and began to work on the Potions assignment.

Effy finished the potions assignment and put her things away in her dorm. She then left the Common Room and headed to the Great Hall.

Amira walked in and headed to her usual spot near the fireplace. She sat down and closed her eyes, wishing someone was here.

Gavin walked in with his cat by his side. "Alright, Zolo, time to eat, " he said an kneeled down and gave Zolo some cat food, which Zolo immediately ate, mewing for more. Gavin sighed, "Zolo..." Gavin groaned and scratched the back of his head, "you are going to get fat at the rate you are eating," he said, giving Zolo some more food.

Amira saw Gavin come in with that cat he seemed to carry everywhere, Zolo, she remembered it's name to be. "Hey Gavin. Cute cat", Amira said, attempting to start conversation.

Gavin looked up at Amira while feeding Gavin, "oh, thank you," Gavin smiled. "I got a new cat this year, he's just a baby," he said, although Zolo was almost a year old.

"How nice, um, is it safe for him to eat that fast?" She asked eyeing the cat doubtfully.

"Zolo will be just fine," Gavin said and stood up, crouching down was bothering him. "He's a hungry cat. He's like a teenager, always eating," Gavin shrugged. He didn't find Zolo's fast eating a problem .

Effy came in through the Common Room door and saw Amira sitting on the floor in front of the fire. Effy went and sat in one of the Armchairs next to her. Gavin was in the room, feeding his cat. Effy's owl, resting on the arm of the chair, eyed Gavin's cat's food, and hooted softly, "Shh, "Effy told him, "I already fed you."

"Good, good," Gavin replied to Amira. "I can't wait for Muggle Studies to start. I'm looking forward to that class the most," he said and sat down on the couch. Zolo walked off to wander the common room. "I'm not going to let this scare of Black escaping Azkaban. I like to believe we'll be safe here."
