Gavin nodded, "yes I did. I hope Professor Burbage liked what I suggested, I said we should learn about muggle's educational system," he said. "What did you write, or what were you thinking about?"

"That's a good topic, I wouldn't be too surprised if he chose that one to teach about. I talked about electricity. Mainly the different forms of it such as with plug adaptors and batteries." Effy told him.

"Electricity is a good topic. It's necessary in their world," Gavin said with a nod. "I hope we don't have to go into the science of electricity though..." Gavin added. Although he was around electricity... just the technical stuff, like currents, would be tedious. Not that it would be a problem for this Ravenclaw, the details were tedious.

"I wouldn't worry that you would get a bad grade, Amira. Burbage isn't a strict guy," Gavin said. "And I think we still are in second place. I'm not sure the last time points were updated though... but last time I remember Slytherin was up by 100."

"We're probably only in second place because a bunch of Slytherins went to that book club meeting and got tons of points. I'm surprised we passed Gryffindor, I would have thought that they would be full of school spirit and such. In any case, I plan on going to the next Book Club meeting to try and rack up some points."

"We're down by 117 to Slytherin, but we have more than twice the points of Gryffindor. And Hufflepuff only has 60 so we don't need to worry about them."

"I'm planning to go to the next book club meeting, too. The topics for discussion are pretty interesting, so I think I would go to it," Gavin said and stretched out his feet. "Did you guys to the Transfiguration preliminary assignment?"

"I did the Preliminary assignment, but I'm still waiting on a partner." Effy looked away from Gavin at that part, remembering the rift they had. "I might ask Harry Potter or Hermione Granger, though."
