"I'm usually better at this, but I can't think of anything right now", she blew her bangs out of her face. She summoned a blanket and lay down. Amira was suddenly very tired, she closed her eyes.

Gavin sighed. "Oh well. Thanks anway you guys. It's probably better that I wait. If I did something now, Jake would know it was me. Plus, 'revenge is a dish best served cold' and all." Gavin gently touched his jaw. The ice had numbed the pain, but all of this talking had started to bring feeling back. "One other thing. If you see Nyssa around, tell her that she doesn't exist to me. I'm done with her."

"It's been nothing but trouble for me," Gavin stated simply. "Ever since the whole Jake thing started, I've been harassed by him on patrols, and I'm damn sure he's talked about me behind my back. It has got out of hand. Nyssa's too emotional and I'm still dragged into the drama. For Merlin's sake- the guy punched me! Nyssa's an unhealthy person to be around and she is not in a sane state of mind," Gavin tried his best to explain. It made more sense in his mind, "it would be best for me and everyone if we never spoke again."

"I disagree. David, you have never been cheated on it's not that simple. Staying away from her and not talking to her, that's what you have to do sometimes. Time heals all wounds." Gavin said to David. Nobody seemed to understand his logic or reasoning.

"I will not let that affect the Quidditch team, I promise you that. She would still be a teammate and only during practices and games. I'll still protect her and the rest of the team, so don't worry about that," Gavin assured David, knowing he would worry about the team. "We are in the same house and year, but if I see her, I'll ignore her, turn the other way, not work with her and avoid everything as a whole. If she really wanted to she could spend her whole time with Jake."

"If that's what you've set your mind to, I'm not going to try and stop you, but you should tell her yourself. Write her an owl or something explaining everything if you don't want to speak to her, but at least be decent enough to let her know why."
