"Got into a fight with the whomping willow" Gavin said nonchalantly with a shrug. A smile appeared on his face. Maybe starting with a joke would lighten the mood.

"I was patrolling as usual and caught him with Nyssa. I guess he didn't like the fact that I prevented him from sucking on her face any longer. I may have docked a few points from the git too, but that's beside the point. Anyway, he took a swing at me. Not that strong for an older boy... My jaw is feeling okay now." Gavin explained making hand motions as he spoke.

Amira rested her cheek on her palm,"Wow. I can understand cussing you out but hitting you?", she shook her head,"As long as you're feeling okay", she said looking again at his jaw.

"I'm not stupid. I wasn't about to hit him back and get myself into loads of trouble. I didn't hit him. Besides, he ran away faster than the golden snitch after he punched me." Gavin shrugged.
