[Griffin Black]

Griffin looked at Neko and smiled. He hugged tightly for a second before kissing her cheek. "So what time does this thing start?" he asked Amber.

[Amber Smith]

Amber nodded "It will be since you & I are in charge" she took out Qudditch Through The Ages from her bag. She could feel Pansy's suspicious look towards her and she sighed "I thought I would at least learn a little before the season starts so I am not sitting there looking like an idiot" she shrugged "Not much is going on in here either"

She looked up from her book and at Griffin "Eight o' clock" she answered looking at her watch "My mother will be here at five" she rolled her eyes "Headmaster loves her and insists she should be here"

[Pansy Parkinson]

Pansy sighed. "Thank Merlin my mother isn't coming."

[Neko Wormwood]

Neko smiled and hugged Griffin. "I think I'm a little too excited about this."

[Amber Smith]

Amber rolled her eyes and was about to say something when she saw the same tall,thin,blonde hair and blue eyed woman she was speaking of walk through the doors with her nose stuck high in the air. She was in white jeans with a pink blazer, a white tank top underneath, in high heels with her white purse stuck to her side. Clearly preferring light colors more than Amber. "She's early!" Amber hissed under her breath bracing herself.

[Pansy Parkinson]

Pansy smiled and covered a laugh. "Good luck, Amber." She whispered.

[Amber Smith]

Amber groaned silently and stood up and waited for her mother to meet her. "Darling!" her mother said kissing her on the cheek once face to face with her "I decided I would come early" she smiled. "I noticed" Amber mumbled but she did not seem to hear her "Pansy, delightful to see you again" she looked to Neko,Griffin,& Gavin "And this is?" she raised an eyebrow

Khamenna nodded, "thank you Miss Amber," she said, then looked at Gavin, "I'll start preparing Gavin, you can help later, why don't you stay here and talk with you classmates?" she suggested and waved to the students, but before she left she kissed her son on the head. "Oh, hello," she greeted to the new comers, Neko and Griffin before she started to push her cart.

Gavin 's face turned red from embarrassment when his mother kiss him. He looked over at Amber, Neko, Griffin, and Pansy, almost wishing that his mother asked him to help because he did wanted to help, almost sharing the same passion of baking as his mother.

[Griffin Black]

Griffin looked at the woman then at Amber. He cleared his throat and moved himself and Neko a little closer to Pansy. "I think we'll just move a little over here," he said quietly.
He also shot a look at Gavin blushing and held back a bit of a laugh. He was really glad that he had no part in organizing the dance.

[Amber Smith]

Amber rolled her eyes "Griffin" she nodded to Griffin "Neko" she nodded at Neko "I've mentioned them in owls" she nodded towards Gavin "He's in Ravenclaw and his mother is the one who is catering and also caters for Narcissa" Her mother light up "Oh well Griffin & Neko pleasure to meet you. Amber has told me how wonderful both of you are. I'm Astrid Smith" She then looked to Gavin "Ah yes I see. Narcissa tells me your mother is fabulous. Nice to meet you as well"

[Pansy Parkinson]

"Hello, Mrs. Smith. It's a pleasure to see you again." She smiled at the woman before watching Gavin's mother walk off and turning to Griffin and Neko. "Have your dancing all figured out?"

[Amber Smith]

Astrid looked at Amber for a moment then sighed "I must go and speak with Headmaster. I will be back later though and I am still waiting to meet Ron" she said firmly. Amber nodded while her mother gave her a hug "Ah well see you later" she sat back down beside Pansy. "Nice to meet you all" she smiled then turned to Gavin "Ah I will introduce myself to her later then" Astird smiled striding out of the great hall.

[Gavin Dean]

"Thank you, ma'am," Gavin nodded to Amber's mother. "It's nice to meet you, Mrs. Smith," Gavin held his hand to the woman for her to shake. "If you would like to speak to my mother, she is over there preparing. She wouldn't mind another adult talking to her," he said, offering in case Astrid did not want to talk to teenagers. However, she had to go speak to the headmaster, so Gavin put his hand to his side, almost wishing he did not offer the suggestion to talk to his mother.

Griffin smiled to Amber's mother. "Pleasure to meet you Mrs. Smith." He turned to Pansy and nodded. "I think so," he said grinning.

Amber sighed "She's fine at home but when it comes to balls..." her voiced trailed off "So Gavin, how is everything in Ravenclaw?" she asked trying to think of another topic to ask the Ravenclaw "Don't mind my mother too much, she is old friends with Headmaster so I am sure she is set on seeing him again"
