Effy smiled and leaned towards Amira, quietly, she said, "So, as I was walking over here, I overheard Gavin talking. And remember what I told you? Well he said that he got an A on the Potions assignment, which is all well and good, but I got an E. Who's the smarter one, now?" Effy smiled again, proudly.

Amira saw Cho walk in and gave her a smile, then focused her attention back on Effy,"Do you want to sneak out again? Oh and i totally forgot to ask! Why were you with that guy? Hmmm", Amira asked her friend with a broad grin.

"I am not impressed with Trelawney thus far, but I'm only taking the class because it seems slightly interesting. But more points for Ravenclaw, right? I was also looking forward to the Muggle Studies class. But it looks like Burbage is getting back on board, so that's good." David told Gavin.

"Good morning, Cho," Gavin's eyes lit up as he saw Cho coming towards him. "Did you have a nice sleep?" Zolo's head turned, smelling the toast, rather upset that Gavin did not feed him yet. He turned back to David, "Definately more points for Ravenclaw. Well, at least we have professors ready to teach, some aren't even on board yet..." he over heard Effy talking about sneaking out and smirked to himself. Oh if only he would tell, but was better than to tattle.

"Well, I stayed in the common room a bit late, and he came in and I said hello. Then I said that I was really bored and wished that I could just walk around the castle and he said, 'why don't we?' But, yes, we should totally go out again tonight!" Effy said, excitedly. "And, yeah, I'll help you with your potions, of course!"

She smiled and nodded at Amira. "My sleep was very nice, thank you," Cho answered looking down at the cat sniffing her toast. Cho smiled, giving the cat a piece of her toast, "Who's this little guy?"

Zolo nibbled on the toast and licked his catlips. Gavin scratched Zolo's ears, "this is Zolo. He's just a kitten, well... not a kitten, almost a year old. Would you like to hold him?" Gavin offered Cho and lifted Zolo from his lap to give to Cho. "Penny was getting to old and I didn't want her to be at Hogwarts for the rest of her life, so I got a new cat."

Zolo started to bite Gavin's hand, it didn't hurt much, at least Zolo wasn't using his claws. Gavin held Zolo back and pulled up his books with one hand. "Sorry to cut short... but I need to feed Zolo." His head turned to David, "see you later," and he looked at Cho, "you can hold Zolo another time!" he exclaimed and waved to them and walked off.
