Gavin raised an eye brow, "why would the squid eat me? It's fun?" He said. He truly thought about going into the lake and see the squid. Curiosity would get the best of him.

Recognizing the look on Gavin's face from the many times she herself made it she contemplated whether she should advise him against anything to do with the squid. She laughed in her head at the thought of this because she would be right there with him confronting the squid. "My day has been going well," she said in answer to Amira's question. "Played the mandolin for most of the day down by the lake."
