A Table by the Window

[Nyssa Pond]

"Me too," she said smiling at Gavin.

[Amira Radke]

"So tell me something random", she said to David, smiling at Nyssa who was looking at Gavin.

[Gavin Dean]

Gavin looked over at Nyssa and smiled back at her before turning back to Amira and David.

[David Calloway]

"Oh, something I found out the other day: The Giant squid has the largest eyes in the animal kingdom. They're something like 16 inches wide."

[Amira Radke]

Amira laughed,"You really are a vat of trivia, that's freaking huge."

[Nyssa Pond]

"That is ridiculous," she said. "Why on earth would you need an eye this big?" she said putting her hands 16 inches apart.

[Amira Radke]

"All the better to see you with."

[David Calloway]

"Well, relatively, i don't think it's that big." David grabbed a napkin and began doing some math.

[Nyssa Pond]

"That is true," she said. "Am I the only one who has the urge to visit the giant squid to measure his eyes?"

[Amira Radke]

She looked at David and shook her head,"My god", she laughed at Nyssa's comment,"Yeah, I'd be way too freaked out what if when it blinks, it sends you backwards."

[David Calloway]

David laughed, "I don't think you'd want to be that close to one. If the squid were as tall as a human, it's eyes would be about an inch and a half wide. Which is pretty huge, I suppose."

((I totally forgot that the lake has a giant squid. I am cracking up so much.))

[Gavin Dean]

"I'll go looking for the squid at the lake," Gavin said, "I've always wanted to go in the water and look for it, actually."

[Amira Radke]

(( When you said that I just remembered Lily said she'd rather go out with the squid. I think I'd take James. ))

David laughed, "It will eat you alive."
