Nyssa blushed a bit at what was happening. Gavin had never referred to her as his girlfriend before. She waved to the group giving them an apologetic smile and followed him out.

"Ah, well, he looked ready to tear you a new one Jake." Cedric spoke after the two left, sitting down audibly. He registered Amira's comment, "And yes, I play seeker. Have for much of my Hogwarts career."

She waved goodbye to Nyssa and looked at the Gryffindor,"Hello, I don't believe we've met before. Amira Radke, you are?", she asked holding out her hand,"That's nice, have you been practicing lately?"

Luna sighed and placed her wand on the table, "I was ready to break that up if it got nasty...Thank heavens that it didn't come to that." She turned to Cedric, "Why would Dumbledore keep him as a prefect if he acts like that?"

"I don't blame him to be frank," Cedric said to Luna as he returned to enjoying his mug, "He obviously likes the girl more than he leads on and he just got jealous. A lot of boys or men would react the same way."

Jake watched them leave, nodding to Cedric. "It's nice to meet you Amira, i'm Jake." He took a seat near Luna, thinking to himself. Letting out a sigh he looked up to Luna and smiled. "I was wondering if you'd seen anything interesting around. I went looking yesterday and all I could find were a few pixies."

Luna looked back down at the table, "Yet this isn't the first time Gavin has lost his temper or acted strange. He's been in the hospital wing a lot lately." She turned to Jake and answered, "Anything interesting? Well, if you happened to see a Crumpled-Horned Snorkack, you be sure to let me know."

Amira looked at the time, she swore in her head,"I'm so sorry but I have to go. God, I'm so late. It was nice hanging out with you all", she smiled and got up.

"Seems fine now though, so I don't really see reason to worry even if I understand. I'm sure the Headmaster would have pulled him if he suspected anything wrong, right?" Cedric grinned to her with confidence. He turned to Harry then, "So when would you like to have a little one-on-one scrimmage, eh?"
