Lydia continued to behave properly, waiting until Theo confirmed his father was in fact gone before she would finally relax. She sipped her drink, surprised at how extraordinarily well that had gone.

Theo walked returned, glaring ahead and walking to the table. He sat down next to Lydia and kissed her cheek. "Well done, he's gone."

She relaxed and sighed lightly before resting her head on his shoulder. "Oh I was so nervous!" She laughed softly. "So he approves? He's not going to tell you that you can't see me or anything?"

She nodded and smiled. "I did alright though right? No concerns or anything?" She smiled, her hand resting on his knee lightly. "We can relax now right?"

He nodded again. "You can relax, everything is fine." Still very tense from what his father said to him he sighed. "Can we leave please? I need to get out of here."

She nodded. "Theo what's wrong? What did he say?" She gathered her things. "You're all tense now." She rubbed his back gently.

She nodded, standing and tilting her head curiously. "Even though I know you're not." She pointed out lightly. "Let's go back and I can rub your shoulders alright?" She smiled.

"That sounds like a great idea." He nodded again and took her hand and left with her.

Emery stepped in with a squish of his shoes, A lot more rain than I thought, but not too bad. At least I'm not soaked to the bone. He removed his glasses and shook his head in a dog-like manner. A couple of exiting students were sprinkled by the water that was shaken away from his long, silvery hair. "Ah! So sorry, misses!" he apologized as he put his glasses back on, they gave him a stern look walked away giggling a bit.
He smirked and looked about the room for Blake. He finally spotted the curly, black-haired head of the kid he wanted to see and called out waving, "Ey, little snakey!" A beaming smile of joy spread across his face.

Blake waved meekly to Emery and cleared his throat, it felt like a piece of that apple pie was stuck in his throat. He jammed his hands in his pockets, more to get rid of the sweat that was beginning to accumulate on his palms than to seem relaxed, and smiled. "Hey Ry. Would you like to go sit down?"

Emery's smile didn't fade as he nodded and placed a hand upon Blake's shoulder. He let himself be led to the spot Blake originally was.

Blake tensed slightly and pulled Emery not towards Nyssa and Cedric but away, to a corner of The Three Broomsticks for the sake of their privacy.
