He smirked and grabbed his cloak. "Race you."

She laughed, hurrying out the door with Theo. "C'mon then."

Theo laughed and hurried out behind her.

Theo walked in with Lydia, looking around to make sure his father wasn't there yet. He led her to a table near the back, away from where most people congregated. "Would you like something to drink?"

"Sure." She smiled and nodded. "Thank you." She slipped her cloak off and straightened out the collar of her robes before smoothing her hair. She set her cloak, purse, and umbrella down before sitting.

He nodded and walked over to Rosmerta to get the drinks. He returned and placing the drinks on the table and sitting next to her. "Here we go. Are you all right?"
(Okay no problem)

She smiled and looked to him. "I'm fine." She nodded. "Thank you." She looked around and back to Theo. "Will I recognize him if I see him?" She could feel curiousity taking over now, thanks to the calming potion her nervousness had subsided for the most part.

"Look for the pompous arrogant man walking around and it'll be him." He shrugged. "He's about 6'4 so he sticks out." He took a sip of his butterbeer and looked to her.

She smiled, doing her best to continue behaving like a lady and not just cuddle him as she normally would. She kept her eyes open, sipping her drink occasionally before looking to Theo again. She took a chance and rested her hand on his knee lightly for a moment to relax again. Waiting now was brutal.

He put his hand under the table and grabbed hers. "Everything will be fine. You're beautiful and amazing, there isn't anything to worry about."

She blushed softly and nodded. "Thank you." She whispered. It seemed as though a great deal of the students had stayed in the castle, likely to hunt down chocolate, rather than brave the weather to come here. She sipped her drink again and dabbed her mouth carefully with a napkin. Each time the bell rang she felt herself jump a bit, squeezing Theo's hand lightly. Too late to back out now. She bit her lip before reminding herself not to.

Theo smiled at her and looked up to see his father walking past the window outside. He leaned down to her ear. "Here he comes, relax and breath. I'm sorry." He sat up straight in his chair and waited.

She nodded and took her hand back, sitting up straight and dropping her eyes to the table, keeping her chin parallel to the table. She looked up to see Theo's father feeling a little shiver run through her. She sat reminding herself that it would all be over soon.

Theo saw his father walk through the door, taking a deep breath he stood and walked over to him. "Hello father. Would you like me to get you a drink?" His father nodded without saying a word but looking around as Theo went get him mead and returning.
"Where is she?" His father asked as he looked around the room. "Sitting at the table." Theo motioned with his head and started to walk back to Lydia with his father. "Father, may I present Miss Lydia Evans. Miss Evans this is my father."

Lydia stood and nodded respectfully to him. "It's an honour sir." She said lightly. She could feel her heart hammering against her chest. So much for calming potion. She reminded herself to keep her mouth shut after that, keeping her head high but eyes down.
