"Kiva! Right!" Arya laughed, feeling silly for forgetting his name. Her palm then hit her face, "Kiva? What in the world... I mean Kiba! I mean Kiba!" Arya exclaimed, waving her hands defensively, "I don't know why I said Kiva, it came out like-" she then saw Kiba fall. "Are you-" she stopped her words again, seeing him make a snow angel. Arya tilted her head and her hat fell, "oh! My hat!" she exclaimed and turned around, bending over to grab her hat. She faced Kiba once again and dusted snow off her hat before putting it back on. "Nice snow angel."

Kiba stopped, hearing Arya's remark. He stood up and brushed away the snow clinging to his jacket and pants. Luckily, Kiba had held onto his wand when he fell. Raising it up to increase the circle of light, he scanned the snowy landscape. "I'm not sure if we can find your scarf Miss Arya," said Kiba bluntly.

Arya frowned, "such a shame. It was a birthday gift," Arya put her fingers to her mouth, "it was very soft too. My favorite scarf. Oh well..." she let out a sigh. She could feel tears forming in her eyes but tried her hardest to not cry. "Well, thank you for your help. Maybe it's stuck in a tree or something," she looked away from Kiba and took a moment to think. "Do you wear scarves?" Arya turned back to Kiba.

Kiba watched the girl. He recalled that birthdays were quite important to this one. Exhaling misty breath due to the cold, Kiba took a few steps closer to Arya. "You shouldn't give up yet, we might still find it." Kiba's words were soft and gentle. "I'll keep looking. It has to be around here somewhere."

Arya bit her lip and her heart sped as Kiba moved closer. Even if he wasn't that close to her, in her mind, the image of him moving closer to her, pinning her to a tree, looking cool, his eyes staring deep into her ran through her mind. She took a small gasp of air before snapping to reality. "Yes, of course. Thank you, Kiba. But if the whomping willow has my scarf, he can defiantly keep it," she said as she tied her hair back so the wind wouldn't blow her hair into her face, getting stuck on her lips and look silly.

Kiba chuckled a bit at Arya's statement. He continued his search for the white scarf in the numbingly cold snow. "Got it!" he exclaimed triumphantly, holding up the scarf above his head and waving his hand back and forth. He waded through the snow, to Arya's side. "Here you go," he smiled, handing the scarf to her. "Will that be all?" Kiba asked jokingly. He shivered in the chilly weather. "It feels like it's getting colder," he noted.

Arya's eyes lit up and she grinned as she saw Kiba waving her scarf in the air. "Oh Kiba!" she jumped onto Kiba, wrapping her arms around his neck. She ignored the polite gesture of a thank you, in fact, it jumped over her head, and a hug would not do. It did not even phase her if Kiba was not the one for hugs... well, a tackle hug, if you would call it. "You are a life saver! Thank you Kiba!" she pulled away and took her scar, fiddling with it, trying to put her scarf on in a stylish manner. "The cold isn't phasing me anymore. I'm too happy. Oh Kiba!" her grin did not disappear, "I could not have done this with out you!"

Kiba could not respond at first. He was shocked at the girl's wild, affectionate nature. His mouth hung open as he searched for the right words to say. "You're... welcome?" he said questioningly, raising an eyebrow. He wasn't sure how to act in this situation. Kiba had merely wanted to help the poor girl and now he didn't know what to do. "I hope you'll be more careful next time," he told Arya. He tucked his wand away safely. "I guess I'll see you later," Kiba said, turning to head back indoors.

"I am careful!" Arya pouted when he told her to be more careful, "it was around my neck and the scarf blew away! It's not my fault! Do you think I would want to lose my scarf? And don't leave just now! How dare you leave a girl in the snow by herself!" Arya expostulated Kiba's soon to be action, jumping to conclusion and thought he would leave with out her. Arya's diffidence disappeared after she talked to Kiba longer. She did not want him to leave. This was not the boorish Kiba Arya met in the library. He was sweet and thoughtful. Or maybe anyone would help someone find their scarf.

Kiba stopped mid-stride. He turned back. "It's cold outside. I wanted to go back inside where it's warm," he said matter-of-factly. "Care to walk back with me?" he asked putting on a small smile. Kiba didn't know how the other Slytherins would act if they saw him with a Hufflepuff.

"Thank you," Arya nodded her head at Kiba, "I would very much so like to walk back with you. It's darker, much more scarier at night," she said. "Your name is Kiba, right?" she asked him to make sure, "I'm really bad with names. You don't look like a Kiba, really."

Kiba led the way back. "Kiba Elm III, actually," he replied nonchalantly. "It's okay if you need to ask me for my name again later," he added. Kiba walked along, arms swinging in the air. He tilted his head up to look into the sky. "Its beautiful," he commented quietly. He returned his gaze to the path before him. "Come on, keep up Miss Arya."

"The third?" Arya raised an eyebrow, "you're cool," she rolled her eyes, slightly amazed though, because she never met someone who was "the third" before. Arya started to walk faster, "I am keeping up! I don't know what you are talking about!" she exclaimed, getting frustrated with Kiba. She was always doing something wrong, when she wasn't doing anything at all."Maybe you should slow down!"

"You act like such a girl," Kiba remarked dryly. He kept up his steady pace. "We're almost there."

"Such a girl?" Arya put her hands on her hips and stopped walking, "how am I supposed to act, Kiva?" Arya forgot his name again. "Enlighten me, please!" Kiba continued to walk so she ran up to catch up to him. She took a deep breath to calm herself down, "thanks again, for finding my scarf."
