Nyssa was beginning to get frustrated. She didn't know what she wanted. She liked both Jake and Gavin despite the common hatred of Gavin among her friends. She had a sneaky feeling that Gavin was mad at her still and wouldn't be surprised if he dumped her. She had thought she had heard him say something along those lines when she entered the common room late Thursday night. She decided to be honest with Jake. "I don't know," she admitted with a sigh.

Nyssa nodded silently. She hadn't even known that she had a boyfriend until that day at the Three Broomsticks. It was funny how much of an impact the decisions of others had on her life.
