The Grounds

[Amber Smith]

Amber nodded and sighed "They are hard to keep up with so be happy that you didn't"

[Nyssa Pond]

"I was debating it. I'm half-blood but I grew up around muggles so there was no need for Muggle Studies, I like sleep so that ruled out Astronomy and well it ruled out History of Magic too because I would just sleep through it." she explained smiling.

[Amber Smith]

Amber laughed "Good reasons. So where are you from?"

[Nyssa Pond]

"I grew up in the US but I have been living in Wales mostly since starting school. What about you?"

[Amber Smith]

Amber nodded then laughed "I can't give you a specific answer. I was born in Germany but I live my family's different homes every year, all year. From Paris to Germany to Ireland to Russia and so on" she paused "But I mostly live in Paris"

[Nyssa Pond]

"Very nice! I know the whole moving around thing. I wasn't born in the US. My parents just sent me there to live with family when I was a child. So I've been moving around between the US and the UK for years."

[Amber Smith]

Amber nodded understanding "It can be quite hectic. Once you get used to being once place, it's time to go to the next house" she rolled her eyes "Do you prefer the states or UK?" she asked sitting back against the tree.

[Nyssa Pond]

"I like both for different reasons. The region of the US I live in is beautiful but there is very little going on. When I am in the UK I live right outside of Cardiff so it is easy to stay entertained. Anyway... it was a pleasure meeting you. I should get some dinner and actually do some homework. See you around!"

[Draco Malfoy]

Draco strode out onto the grounds with Pansy still on his arm. He looked to her, "How was your day?"

[Pansy Parkinson]

"I'm afraid there isn't much to tell. I went to class and finished an assignment." She looked to him and smiled. "I hope you weren't expecting me to entertain you with that thrilling tale."

[Draco Malfoy]

Draco laughed and shook his head slightly. "Oh, no, I wasn't expecting a thrilling tale, but if you could weave one it would be accepted. I am afraid I neglected classes today, though I'm probably not in peril of failure like many."

[Pansy Parkinson]

Pansy gave a laugh. "I doubt you are anywhere close to failing but if you need my notes I would happy to lend them to you." She looked out over the grounds and let out a sigh of contentment.

[Draco Malfoy]

Draco smiled, "Well thank you for offering me your immaculate notes, Pans, I will keep that in mind. If you should ever need mine, you're more than welcome to have them as well." As they walked, Draco noticed the air was less cool than nights before, "It seems it will be spring in time for the spring ball."

[Pansy Parkinson]

"Because I would ask before I took your notes..." She smiled and continued walking with him, nodding. "I'm more than ready for the cold to retreat and spring to arrive. The castle is much more beautiful in the spring."

[Draco Malfoy]

"I will admit, the castle is shown in a much better light when spring is present. If anything, I do believe it is the atmosphere the students create when it arrives that does such a thing." Draco chuckled and glanced to her, "Have you 'borrowed' them before?"
