Nyssa saw a girl she didn't recognize sit down near her. She waved over the top of her book. She was feeling quite friendly today.

Amber looked up from her parchment when she realized a girl with Ravenclaw uniform waving. She grinned and waved back wondering if she should approach her or wait.

Nyssa was tired of work anyway so she got up to introduce herself to the Slytherin girl. "Hi! I'm sorry for bothering you but I don't believe we've met. Nyssa Pond." She said extending her hand.

Amber laid her parchment and books aside and stood up to properly introduce herself "Amber Smith and you are defiantly not disturbing me" she laughed eyeing her homework "Nice to meet you"

"Potions" Amber answered sitting down "You are more than welcome to sit if you prefer to sit rather than stand" she laughed

Amber laughed "This weeks lesson is not something I prefer either so I am tempted to put it off" she closed her book "So Nyssa, what year are you?"

"Almost all." she replied. "Transfiguration, Potions, Herbology, Care of Magical Creatures, Charms, and Defense Against the Dark Arts. Oh and Divination." she said counting them off on her fingers
