[Griffin Black]

Griffin looked at Pansy. "Oh no, don't worry." He smiled. "I actually like the company too. It makes these long nights..." he paused, thinking of the right word, "more pleasant."

Pansy smiled back. "I understand." She turned back to her book.

[Griffin Black]

Griffin smiled a little then directed his attention back to the fireplace. He was glad Pansy hadn't pressed the issue about his restlessness. He didn't intend on telling people about his mothers side of his family for awhile.

Pansy yawned and stretched against the chair. She found herself rereading the same line over and over. Deciding to continue in bed in case she did doze off she stood and yawned again. "Good night, Black, Darling. See you tomorrow." She said exiting the common room.

[Griffin Black]

Griffin nodded to Elinor and pulled out his wand. He spun it in his hand for a moment. He pulled out a spare quill and tapped it lightly with his wand. He was hoping it would turn into a snake but instead turned into a cold, lifeless strand of spaghetti pasta. He sighed. "I'm really ready for transfiguration to start. It's the one subject I'm complete rubbish in," he said quietly, not sure who he was talking to.
He looked up. "G'night Parkinson."

[Griffin Black]

Griffin laughed a little. "Right. Well I hope she's not too bad. It's the one subject I need the most help in." He blushed suddenly. "D-don't tell Neko. If she asks that is."

Griffin smiled back and threw the piece of pasta into the fire. He got up and stretched. "I want to head off to bed," he said with a yawn, "but I can't get to sleep." He sat down on the couch and reached for the blanket Malfoy had left earlier and wrapped it around himself. He pulled out his wand and tapped it. A lion pattern appeared on it. He flustered and tapped it again, this time snakes appearing on it. He smiled and laid back a little.

Griffin got up and threw the blanket onto the couch. He yawned and stretched. "I'm going to bed. G'night Elinor." He walked off into the boy's dorms.

[Neko Wormwood]

Neko entered the common room to find it empty. She thought she might play her violin, but remembering her hurt finger decided against it. Instead she decided to stand by the fire and sing. "Asamoya no naka tsuduku shiroi michi. Tori no saezuri aisatsu kawashi nagara, toki ni kumo ga tamekomete hizashi kagerou tomo, sesuji nobashite aruku watashi ha shitteru kara omoi kumo no ue ha aoi sora..."

[Pansy Parkinson]

Pansy walked into the common room and heard Neko singing. Not wanting to disrupt her she went over to the chair and sat down, pulling out her latest book.

[Griffin Black]

Griffin came down into the common room and saw Pansy reading in one corner and Neko singing on the other end of the common room. He gave a little wave to Pansy and walked slowly over to Neko, ruffling his black hair with his cut hand.

Pansy heard Griffin entering the common room she looked up and gave a small smile at his wave. Thinking it was time for food she place the book in her robes and headed down to the Great Hall.

[Neko Wormwood]

Neko thought she heard something behind her. She turned to see Griffin and blushed because he had heard her singing. "Oh, good morning."

[Griffin Black]

"Good morning," he said, looking at her. "Wow, you look... really nice," he said with a smile. He put his left hand into his robes, trying to conceal his cut hand.

[Neko Wormwood]

Neko smiled, blushing a bit. "Thanks. Um, should we go get breakfast or something?"
