[Pansy Parkinson]

Pansy reached up placing her hand over Draco's. "Of course I can, Draco. I'll take care of her. She needs to learn her place, Wormwood isn't helping there," she said. Pansy looked up at Draco with a small smile. "Thank you for coming after me."

[Draco Malfoy]

Draco looked away strategically and coughed a tad, "I'm sure you'll take care of her fine," then looking down and mumbling a to her, "and I only came after you to make sure you were alright.. Like it or not, we're friends."
Taking his hand away from under Pansy's, Draco motioned towards the couch, "Care to talk? I believe you were telling me about a seer in your family."

[Griffin Black]

Griffin barged into the common room and quickly saw Draco and Pansy. "Hey, I'm dreadfully sorry for that situation back in the Great Hall," he said, hoping he wasn't interrupting anything. "Me and Neko weren't too comfortable with that Hufflepuff at our table. That puff just sort of approached us out of the blue." He noticed that Pansy's hair had returned to it's normal color. "Glad to see you're hair is back to norm Parkinson. Um anyways, I think that we shouldn't be at each others throats is all."

[Pansy Parkinson]

"Yes, of course, but my I have a moment I just - er need to go to my room for a moment. I'll be right back," she said, already inching towards the exit.

[Draco Malfoy]

Draco watched Pansy leave and turned to Griffin, eyes narrowed, "You have to understand, Black. This world is eat or be eaten. Friends are all fine and well, but it'd be best if you were to stick with your own kind. And of course Pansy's hair is fine, I wouldn't leave her to suffer with it." Draco sat down on the couch and rested his cheek against a propped up hand, "Congratulations on your new relationship, by the by."

[Griffin Black]

Griffin nodded. "Yes, I understand. Could have been worse though, eh? She could have been a Gryffindor. I had no doubt in your abilities Malfoy." He moved into the common room a bit more. "Ah, yes, thank you. Am I assuming too much about you and Pansy are in a relationship?" he asked uneasily, trying not to upset the already on the edge Draco.

[Draco Malfoy]

Draco stiffened and glanced at Griffin, shifting in positions as he replied, "Not officially, but I have asked her to accompany me into Hogsmeade tomorrow. And I suppose you are right, it could have been a Gryffindor." Draco sneered at the thought.

[Griffin Black]

Griffin arched an eyebrow. "To Madam Puddifoot's? Hm that's a good idea. I should go run that by Neko. Excuse me." He turned around and walked out of the common room.

[Pansy Parkinson]

Pansy walked back into the room looking around. "Where did Black go?" she asked Draco as she took a seat on the sofa tucking her legs beneath her.

[Draco Malfoy]

Draco turned, surprised to hear Pansy, "You startled me. He left to invite Wormwood to Puddifoot's or something of the sort. Where did you go?" Draco turned his body on the couch and shifted to comfortably face Pansy.

[Pansy Parkinson]

"Sorry I didn't mean to startle you. Oh, I just needed to check something. Nothing to worry about." She waved her hands. "What do you think of Slytherin's latest pair?" she asked.

[Draco Malfoy]

Draco nodded, not wanting to pry, and laid back into the couch thoughtfully, "At least they're both snakes. But Black isn't setting his new girlfriend a good example by condoning her fraternizing with other houses."

[Pansy Parkinson]

Pansy nodded. "I agree. Speaking of Black, he mentioned something about his mother claiming his father to be Sirius Black... I found that rather...amusing."

[Draco Malfoy]

"I don't know if it is a good thing or bad thing that he would be the heir to the Noble and Most Ancient House of Black," Draco responded, staring off into space, "No one knows much about Sirius Black."

[Pansy Parkinson]

"Until we know one way or another I suppose we should keep him as an ally," she said. "Enough about him. You said you were not taking Divination, correct?"
