Pansy nodded as she listened to him. "That is true but sometimes others don't want or need to be around you and then you are left to your own devices. I've taken to hiding in dark corners but even that isn't nearly as fun on your own." She laughed to herself, shaking her head.

Kiba shrugged. "I like being around other people, but sometimes solitude can be nice too. You haven't seen Blake at all, have you?" Kiba enjoyed Blake's company and couldn't remember the last time he had talked to, or even seen, the younger boy.

"No I'm sorry I haven't. The last person I really talked to was Amber and I saw Blaise in passing but we didn't speak," Pansy answered. "So I take it there is nothing new going on in your life since your stuck here talking to me?" Pansy gave him a smile.

"Nothing new. School, eat, sleep, eat, more school..." Kiba sighed. "It's the same thing practically every day." He rubbed his face using his right hand and then yawned.

"You should do something fun! Let me know if you ever want to do anything," Pansy said, noticing his yawn she smiled and joined in. "If you are getting tired again please don't let me keep you. I was thinking of going for a walk, I can leave you if you prefer."

Kiba covered another yawn. "I probably will go back to sleep pretty soon and thank you for your offer. I'll remember that next time I'm bored and have nothing to do." He stretched his arms over his head then let them fall back to his sides.

"You're welcome," Pansy said getting up and banishing her book to a safe place. "I think I'll go for that walk now, have a good night Kiba." She rose from her chair smiling at him and pulling her hair up, out of her face twisting it and then tucking her wand in to secure it.

"Goodnight Pansy. Have a good walk," Kiba responded cheerily. He slowly rose up from his chair and stretched, preparing to head back to bed.

Pansy gave him another smile moving to kiss his cheek. "Sweet dreams," she said happily before turning and heading out through the common room door with a little wave over her shoulder.

Kiba smiled to himself and then headed up to the dorms to go back to sleep.

Pansy finally got a chance to sit down after walking around the room talking to different groups of people. It was a lively time in the Slytherin common room for a Saturday night, with the music and food she had put out earlier. Crossing her legs she looked around, then collapsed backwards onto the sofa. It was a splendid time but she needed to rest now.

Draco came into the commons quietly conversing within a group of others in his year. Summer was riling up a lot of the student population, most could be found lounging by the lake, but many if not all Slytherins kept their facades up though they might have been the most excited of any house. Summer meant many things for people of their house: parties amongst the high class, trips around the world, and for others, independent study. He parted ways and snatched a book he had set out earlier on business regulations to sit at his couch and read.

Theo walked back to the common room with Lydia. "Home sweet home." He smiled although he was in a great deal of pain. "Where is my party?"

Lydia smiled. "Your party is upstairs in bed and relaxing while I cuddle you and tell you how much I missed you." She motioned to the stairs.

"In bed huh?" He smirked and walked towards the stairs dreading them. "Sodding stairs." He muttered as he started going up.
