Theo smiled and summoned a box down from his rooms. He handed her the gift wrapped in golden wrapping. Inside was a pink sapphire tennis bracelet. "I am very good at remembering dates. Happy Birthday."

Pansy sighed blowing some hair out of her face. "I've been dreadfully busy with classes, OWLs are coming soon!" she said in reply. "I didn't know it was your birthday! Happy birthday! What would you like?"

Neko stared at the box. "Really? A present? I hardly ever get presents!" She opened the box excitedly and gasped when she saw what was inside. "It's so pretty!" She exclaimed as she gave Theo a big hug. She then looked over at Pansy. "Thanks. You don't have to get me anything though. I didn't get you anything for your birthday."

Pansy smiled at her reaction to Theo's gift. "And miss out on a reaction like that? I have to keep up with Theo!" she told Neko.

Theo chuckled as she hugged him and returned it. "You are very welcome. I'm glad you like it Neko."

Neko nodded. "I'll try. Although I really have no idea what I would get you. I'm no good at buying presents."

"Don't worry about it. It's not important." He smiled. "I'm just glad you are having a nice day."

When she returned to the common room Pansy took a spot by the fire. It might have been June but the dungeons were still chilly. Pansy took out her wand and with a series of complicated hand gestures, she french braided her hair to keep it out of her face. Now that she was totally carefree she took out some work that still needed to be done and laid it out in front of her.

Theo had been reading in a seat near the corner and lost track of time. He closed the book and spotted Pansy. "Hello. When did you come in?"

Pansy jumped when suddenly someone broke the silence. "Theo! I didn't see you there. I've been here for a while now," she said gesturing at her work. An owl flew in landing next to her. Pansy answered it and sent it on its way. "it's not nice to sneak up on people like that."

Lydia wandered into the common room, her nose in a book. Her parents had sent a few books for her and she actually found them rather interesting. She barely missed a first year and bumped a chair. "Oof!"

He smirked at Pansy. "I wasn't sneaking. I was sitting here the whole time." Lydia caught his attention as she made a noise. "Alright there love? It's best not to read and walk."
