Amber looked up from her writing when she heard an owl land beside her with a piece of parchment. "Well, hello there" she smiled as she put down her quill and grabbed the piece of parchment. She unfolded the piece of parchment and read it over before grabbing another piece of parchment then writing a reply. "Take this back to Ron" she said handing the piece of parchment to the owl then watching it fly out of the room

Draco came into the common room and went directly to the dorms having stopped off at a lavatory to scrub his hands. He touched his upper left arm and winced while hissing, that stinging hex having had a decent amount of power propelled behind it. Stupid Potter. Feu skittered out from the fire and followed Draco up the stairs with a hiss of his own. The tiny dragon was now used to sleeping on the pillow next to him and did so nightly.

Theo woke up with a start. He looked around to make sure no one had done anything to him in his sleep and then got up to head to the dorms.

Returning to the common room Theo took a seat at a table. He gathered parchment to write several letters. It was a bothersome but necessary task.

Theo finished his second letter with a large and rather loud sigh and ran his hand through his hair. He didn't know why Lydia's mother needed him to write to her personally. It was a waste if his time answering her nonsense questions. The other letter was to his father which was equally as grueling but in a completely different and miserable way. Sealing both the letters with wax he took them and headed to the owlery.

Neko entered the common room. She looked around and found it empty. She sighed and sat on the couch, staring down at a small box that she had received that morning.

Theo returned from his excursion to the owlery. He saw Neko and headed over to where she was sitting so he could sit next to her. "Afternoon Neko." He smiled.

"I don't matter much today. It's your day so the most important question is how are you today?" He smiled.

"Hm? Oh! You remembered!" Neko said, smiling brightly. "I'm pretty good. I didn't go to classes today though. I slept most of the day."

"You wound me." He put his hands over his heart. "What kind of horrible person would I be to forget such a momentous day? Sleeping is preferable to class anyway." He grinned.

"Hello everyone!" Pansy greeted as she walked into the room. She took a seat, crossing her legs, and folding her hands neatly on her lap. "What's going on?"

Neko smiled. "I'm sorry. I just didn't expect anyone to remember. Probably because I'm so bad at remembering birthdays." Neko looked over to see Pansy. "Hello Pansy. I havn't seen you in a while."
