Grinning, Kiba replied to Pansy. "Yeah, I've been SUPER busy with school lately and..." He trailed off as he heard Blaise's remark. Kiba's eyes looked from Blaise to Pansy. Thinking to himself, Kiba decided, I must have misheard what he said. Despite this, Kiba still felt a little uneasy. He sat back and listened to the pairs conversation.

"If you are going to let me off that easy than I shall except it. I can spend my money on me," Pansy told Blaise and then looked back to Kiba, tilting her head. "And then what? You stopped mid sentence."

"Did I?" Kiba responded to Pansy. He stroked his chin as if he were deep in thought. "I don't remember what I was going to say," Kiba admitted with a small chuckle.

Blaise's eye twitched slightly, he didn't like the way that this guy was looking at Pansy. He was by no means a possessive partner, but from what he had heard, that he had yelled at Pansy- even though it was a one time occasion- made him ill fit. He tugged Pansy closer, partly to relish in their contact, and partly to show the other guy that he wasn't allowed to do anything to Pansy.

"It probably wasn't too important if you can't remember. Not to worry," Pansy told him. Pansy felt Blaise tugging her closer and she gave him a questioning look.

Blaise gave her a sideways glance. He gaze tried to convey something along the lines of, 'It's a guy thing'.

Although Kiba felt uncomfortable, he mentally checked himself, thought about what Blake would say he should do in this situation, and remained as calm as possible. Kiba glanced at Blaise, but returned to watching Pansy. "You're right, it must not have been anything serious. What have you been doing lately Pansy?"

Pansy rolled her eyes and 'accidentally' prodded him with her heel as she uncrossed and recrossed her legs muttering something about boys under her breath. "I have been going homework and working on my designs for my rooms at home," she said smiling at Kiba.

Blaise internally winced as his foot was caught, but ignored it outwardly in favor of continuing to give Kiba a polite look. Polite- not friendly, not glaring, just his best diplomatic look.

Pansy seemed the same to Kiba. He returned her smile with one of his own. "What kind of designs have you done so far?"

"I have changed the color patterns and am replacing all the furniture. I wouldn't want to bore you or Blaise with the detail," Pansy said. "I am sure you aren't interested in girly things." Pansy looked at Blaise out of the corner of her eye and fought back a laugh.

Kiba followed Pansy's gaze and had to stifle a laugh as he noticed Blaise's expression. "Are you okay?" he asked Blaise after he had subdued the urge to laugh.

Blaise went to say that he was interested, but instead stiffened at Kiba. He grinned falsely, "I'm wonderful. I cannot think of a better way of spending an evening."

Pansy sighed deeply and pinched the bridge of her nose. "You have got to stop with those. I am sure the two of you would love nothing more than for me to have an in depth discusion of color patterns but I refuse."

"That's good to hear. It just looked like you were constipated or something," Kiba said to Blaise. Unable to stop himself, Kiba smiled at his own comment, but quickly looked away so Blaise wouldn't misunderstand.
