Leaving the boys' dorms, Kiba entered the Common Room lazily. He was still feeling the effects of his long nap, so he let out another yawn. He looked around the Common Room for a place to sit and noticed Pansy sitting next to someone he didn't recognize. "Hey there!" Kiba called out to Pansy as he made his way over to where she was seated.

"The most amazing day of the year," Pansy said with a hint of sarcasm but still smiling. "Hello," Pansy returned the greeting to Kiba.

He smiled at Pansy and looked at the boy next to her. "Is this a friend of yours?" he asked her before turning and introducing himself. "Hello, I'm Kiba Elm," he greeted the boy.

Blaise nodded quite seriously, "I believe the wizarding world should have a parade in my honour." He paused as the boy- Kiba, or Kida, or something, introduced himself, "I'm Blaise Zabini. Pleasure." He put out his hand to shake.

Blake emerged from his corner into the light and politely nodded to the three clustered, exiting.

Pansy looked between the two. "Well you've done the introductions for me. That was easy." She moved around to a more comfortable seating potion and crossed her legs.

Blaise grinned and scooted closer to Pansy before slinging his free arm around her shoulder. "Because it's my birthday- and I'm awesome. Thus, celebrations such as parades are expected."

Kiba watched Blaise and then gave Pansy a quick questioning look. He thought for a few seconds and decided that Pansy and Blaise shared a close friendship like Pansy and Draco. Kiba nodded at Blaise's reply and, with an amused smile, said, "You're just that awesome huh? Happy birthday." He looked around for somewhere good to sit and decided on a nearby chair. Pulling it closer to where Pansy and Blaise were sitting, Kiba made himself comfortable. He looked at Pansy. "How are you doing Miss Pansy?"

Pansy smiled at Kiba. "I have been fine, thank you for asking. I haven't seen you around. I imagine you have been busy with school work?" she asked. She closed her eyes at Blaise's comments before she turned to give him a look half amused and half speechless. "Fine."
