Arya tilted her head, rather confused now, the laughter only adding more confusion. "Wait, what?" Arya scratched her head, panicking at what to think. "I'm so confused, are you serious or are you kidding?! You should be kidding, I don't know if that's possible," Arya's face was distorted. She scratched her forehead and rubbed her face, "you sounded so serious for a second..."

Mildmay laughed harder as she looked more and more confused, curling over and crinkling his homework, smudging the freshest parts of the ink.
"You're so gullible!" he crowed, but not meanly.

Arya pouted, turning bright red from embarrassment. "I'm not gullible! You're just... really good at telling stories to make it believable," Arya muttered, trying to think of something witty to reply. "You never know what's real or not in the wizardry world," she continued to mumble, her face still red, face pouty. "You got me, Mildmay. I will admit that."

Mildmay giggled for some time then leaned back into the couch, letting his head fall back. "Ah, Merlin, I needed that." He looked at her for a moment, laughter still making his eyes dance and his lips curve. "I think I'd like to end the day on a high note. I'm going to bed before anything bad happens. G'night, Arya."

Oliver walked in the common room, shoulders drooping in mental exhaustion. Briefly looking up, he noticed two other occupants of the room. Not wanting to catch their attention, he made his way to a secluded seat as quietly as he can. Oliver wasn't normally like this. But he had been burdened by a problem since the summer, which he finds hard to talk over about and especially open up. He sat, rested his back comfortably with his head thrown back and tiredly closed his eyes with a sigh.

"Sweet dreams, Mildmay," Arya said, giggling when she spoke, then laughing for a good time herself, feeling almost dumb for believing him. But it was a good laugh. As Mildmay left, Oliver entered. She never spoke to Oliver personally and watched him slump down to the chair. "Tiring day today?" She asked, tilting her head.

Mildmay packed away his things and looked about for his cat, but she was no where in sight. He went into the boys dorms, closing the door behind him softly.

Oliver jumped a little at the mention of his voice. He did not notice at all that the boy left and there were only two of them left. "Hey. Yeah, pretty much. Just wanted to rest and sit around. All's well with you?"

Arya nodded, "yes it is, thank you. If you wanted to rest, I would think a bed is more comfortable," Arya said, motioning her head to the staircase leading to the boys dorm. "I'm not asking you to leave though!" Arya said defensively, "the company is nice, really it is!"

He chuckled. "Don't worry, I take no offense. And I'm quite okay here too. As you said, the company is nice," he said while he flashed her a tired smile.

"I don't see you around much," Arya said, moving a throw pillow to get comfortable. "Do you not hang around inside the castle much?" she asked, "I don't see you around dinner, either, unless we eat at different times."

"I normally just wander around instead of hanging around at someplace," he explained with a shrug. "Maybe we just do eat at different times, and maybe another reason could be because I have this knack for grabbing bites either from the kitchen or packing some food from meals for when I get hungry. It isn't really my thing to always be there during meals."

"You can go straight to the kitchen and request meals?" Arya questioned, never knowing that. "That's really useful, actually. I should do that rather than waiting for meal time," she said, "thank you for the valid information!"

Oliver took his eyes away from the far corner to look at the girl and warned her. "I'm not entirely sure if that's legal. But the house elves are always willing to make and give you some grub. Just be watchful though." He didn't want the poor girl to go into trouble just for trying to eat.

"Oh, I'll definitely be careful. I'm not hungry all the time though, I don't mind waiting for the general food times," Arya said, resting her feet on the couch. "Do you have a close relationship to the house elves, then? It's nice of them to do that for you. "
