"Well, absence makes the heart grow fonder," Charlotte said in a sing-song tone. "Speaking of which, I think I'm going to head up early, I've got a bit of a headache. I'll see you later, though!" Charlotte waved goodnight to Nyssa and headed up to the dorm.

Nyssa yawned and looked around the dead common room. There were a few people there all studying hard for their OWLs or NEWTs. She gathered up her things and headed up to the dorm.

Nyssa walked through the common room on her way to the Great Hall. She noticed a few students passed out at tables with books and notes around them. She smiled a sympathetic smile as she headed out the door.
