"That he's too busy, and I guess he thinks the ball didn't go well, and that people were all negative about it," Effy said. "He said it's too much work for just him and McGonagall to supervise."

Gavin looked at Charlotte, "it's nothing I guess. It wont happen." He looked back at Effy, "what if we did one in secrecy? Planned our own dance and let the whole school know?"

Gavin frowned and shook his head, "lets not have it here then," he said. "We could get people to combine money, donate, and rent out a room somewhere, or a banquet hall and have the dance there."

"And we've still got it on Tuesdays and Fridays for the Study Group and Harry's got it Saturday and Sunday for Dumbledore's army," Effy added. "And then people don't have to pay."
