She put on a smile,"I'm fine, just got some bad news. Hey Gavin, so the party's on Sunday?", she asked, changing the subject.

"Yeah, party is on Sunday. Charity couldn't make it on Saturday," Gavin said to Amira. He wanted to ask what happened, but maybe it was best if she didn't speak about it.

An owl flew in and dropped a parcel with a letter attached onto her lap, she opened it and wrote a reply,"It's okay...Er, do you want an eclair?", she offered one that Ron sent her, she felt bad for killing the mood,"There's a transfer girl?"

"Don't know her," David said. He walked over to Amira and sat down next to her, "Is he going to be okay?" he asked, concerned for her brother, who he had met once in Hogsmeade.

"I don't know if there was anything to sort out," David said, understanding that she didn't want to talk about it, but hoped that she knew that he was available if she needed someone, "We've just been really busy lately. We've made plans to spend time together, though."

She smiled,"That's good, make her upset and I might have to get caught of in one of her insane revenge plans. Maybe break out the kneazle and the cheerleading uniform", she joked, trying to lighten the mood, she turned to Gavin,"Thanks for the offer, but I'm not much of a, er, cryer. Thanks though", she gave him a small hug.
