"No," Nyssa said shaking her head. "I never asked the Headmaster if he could. I don't even know if he'd want to at this point."

"Well, maybe that's for the best," David said, not able to understand how Nyssa was feeling. His adoptive parents were wizard and witch, he'd never had to deal with what Nyssa was dealing with.

Nyssa nodded stifling a yawn. "I think I need to get some sleep. Do we have practice this week?" she asked as she started to pack up her things.

"No, not anything formal. But the pitch is still open for you to use on Thursdays if you want to practice by yourself or with a few friends. I'm thinking of starting up again next week."

"Sounds good," Nyssa said. "We'll sorry to abandon you but I really need some sleep. Have a good night." She picked up her bag and waved goodnight to David before heading up to bed.

"Goodnight," David said to Nyssa before she left. He leaned back in his chair and closed his eyes.

"Try not to fall asleep on the chair like me," Gavin said to David with a small smile on his face.

"I'm not tired," David said, "Just thinking. I didn't know that you were awake."

"Oh, yeah, I was, I was resting my eyes, that's all," Gavin said. "What were you thinking about? If you don't mind me asking."

"Just... a lot," David said, "School, Quidditch, the Tournament," he left out Charlotte and Amber, not wanting to speak to Gavin about that.

"I think you can relax about the Tournament for a moment. It seems its on a hiatus," Gavin said, "but it's good that your mind is still on it. Quidditch shouldn't be as bas as a worry, we seem to be on top so far."

"Yes, but I'm still practicing. I want to be prepared. And I'm more worried that there won't even be Quidditch," he said.

Amira walked down, her eyes still a bit red, she waved to the others and sat down at one of the desks.

"I am too, David," Gavin looked down at the ground. He truly did wish there was quidditch this year. He looked back up, "how are you and Amber? You haven't spoken about her."

"We're fine," David said, "Nothing special, really. We had dinner last night, and we're going to try and go to Hogsmeade this weekend. Hello, Amira, are you alright?" he asked, wondering why her eyes were red.
