Theo sighed and sat next to her, putting his arm around her. "I'm doing that worrying thing again."

"Why are you worrying Theo?" She leaned against him, wrapping her arm back around him. "Anything specific or is it many different things?"

"It's something specific. Your dreams worry me." He sighed.

"Why do my dreams worry you?" She gave a concerned look as she turned to face him. "Is it because my other grandmother was a lucid dreamer?"

"I don't care about your grandmother. I care that they bother you and you never talk about them." He sighed. "I know you don't want to but I worry about them."

"When you start talking about your dreams I'll talk about mine." She smiled and nodded. "Otherwise I'm fine. They're usually just me worrying about silly things. Like my gran trying to butt into my life."

"I don't want you to worry about stupid things." He tucked her hair behind her ear. "I did tell you about my dream. I don't remember most of them."

"I can't help but worry. She's still threatening to cart me off and try to change me." She sighed. "My fear is that if she manages to..." She shook her head. "I don't want to change..."

"Why would she manage to change you?" He reached down and laced her hand with his. "I don't want you to change so you won't it's as easy as that."

She smiled weakly. "She can be horribly persuasive sometimes. Knowing Gran she'd be more than happy to write your father and tell him all about me if I didn't agree to behave properly." She sighed. "She would hold that threat over my head."

"I can write to your parents and tell them I don't want you with her. I have a lot of control and your father is reasonable." He squeezed her hand. "Writing to my father would be the stupidest thing she could do."

"She would be more than happy to ruin everything for me." She sighed and curled closer to him. "She thinks I'm a black sheep anyway. She also thinks I should have been a boy and that the only thing that went wrong with that was that I wasn't born on." She shook her head. "She's a nightmare."

"She wouldn't be ruining anything for you, only herself. My father would of course believe me over her in matter such as this." He lifted her chin to look at her. "I'm not going to let anything happen."

She nodded and hugged Theo warmly. "I'm just afraid something will go wrong. You know how I worry too much." She smiled and blushed.

He smiled. "I know and I seem to have somehow caught it from you." He kissed her cheek. "Nothing is going to go wrong and if it does I'll fix it."
