Nyssa nodded a bit relieved. She didn't need Jake's family hating her too. She moved forward to examine some of the older trophies.

Jake leaned up against the wall watching her, he'd has enough of looking around yesterday. "Did you write back to your father?"

Nyssa stood on her toes to kiss him lightly hearing the bell for curfew. "I'm going to have so much fun ignoring that bell next year."

"Yes, but next year I won't have to worry about ignoring it," Nyssa said breaking away from him to jump up to sit on one of the display cases to make herself a bit taller.
