The trophy room where all the old awards, trophies, statues, cups, plates, shields, and medals are kept in crystal display cases. There is also a list of all the head boys and girls. It's adjacent to a long gallery full of suits of armor.

Amira walked in, avoiding the suits of armor, she could have sworn one moved. She shook her head and looked at all the trophies, reading the names. She wondered if her parents would be one of the many names in this room.

She found her brother's name on the list of Slytherin head boys, she smiled and touched the glass. His birthday was coming up, she'd have to send him something lovely. She walked out of the trophy room and an owl found her delivering a letter. She sighed and moved her bangs out of her face.

Jake walked into the trophy room seeing that everything was set up from him and ready. After he put his bag down he grabbed the rags left and started to shine all the awards. It wasn't the first time he'd had detention from McGonagall.

Jake finished the little shelf before he moved on to the quidditch shelves. He diligently shined and polished them all reading some names as he did, looking for relatives.

Moving on the the special awards, Jake took his time to shine them all properly. He picked up each one giving it a good clean and polish before carefully setting it back down again. He also dusted the shelves and wiped down the glass.

Jake finished the last section of the room, everything was bright and shinny. He was proud of his work and gave a nod as he surveyed the trophy room. He packed up all the cleaning supplies and rags and wrote Professor McGonagall a note telling her he had completed his detention. Gathering his things he left the room heading up to his own tower to change and clean off.

"You have quite the variety of houses in your family," Nyssa said. "Is he a stereotypical Slytherin?" she asked causally but slightly concerned.

"I didn't until my parents got married. It had only been Gryffindors on one side and Slytherins and Ravenclaws on the other," Jake explained.

"Oh sorry, I forgot about that. He's... well yes? He's not mean or anything but he has a lot of traits that's for sure but he's not against muggleborns or anything," Jake explained.
