"I think so," Griffin said quietly. "Sometimes when I'm sleeping I have dreams where," he pulled out the small gold cat, "where I'm a cat. When I wake up, there's cat hair around me or scratches on me. I don't know how to explain it," he said. He looked at Neko and smiled. "I'm sorry. I wasn't trying to keep secrets from you Neko, I just have never told anyone that before."

Neko let out a small gasp. "That's... actually kinda cool!" She said with a little giggle. She pulled him close and kissed his cheek."

Griffin smiled and rubbed the back of his neck. "Yeah," he said, trying not to turn red. "That's why this family heirloom is a cat. My mom's side of the family is known to produce animagus's that can turn into," he looked at the small gold cat and smiled, "well you know."

"Why were you so scared to tell me?" She asked. She blushed a bit and looked away, a bit embarassed. "I mean, I'm named after a cat and you are one. Heh, it's kinda like we were meant to be together."

Griffin blushed. "Well that's what attracted me to you so much when I first heard your name." He looked over at her and smiled. "Neko, you look beautiful. And I look like rubbish in this awful shirt," he said, still blushing. He relaxed a little by how the whole thing went.

Griffin smiled at her touch. "You too Neko. You look lovely." He bent over the table and kissed her softly on the lips then sat back down, blushing a little.

Griffin smiled and blushed a little. "You're my first kiss too," he admitted. He picked up a napkin and tapped it with his wand, the same way he did with the knut. This time instead of one rose, the napkin turned into a small bouquet of roses. "Here," he said, handing her the roses from across the table.

Griffin smiled. This date was going really well. He realized that telling Neko his secret only made things better. Suddenly, the fact that most people focused most of their attention on Potter and Malfoy didn't matter. Neko Wormwood liked him. He smiled brightly at this revelation. "So enjoying the day so far?" he asked.
