Draco glanced towards the floor of the owlery with high disdain: straw, owl droppings, and the regurgitated skeletons of mice, voles, and other small creatures scattered the stone floor without any order (not like he had expected one, they were animals). "Honestly, you would think with the vast amount of help they have with cleaning the bloody castle they could spare a few of those busy bodies to clean this.. this vile environment." Painstakingly conscious of the droppings and anything dead or thrown up, and trying to cover his nose from the smell made only worse by the rain, he walked to a school owl and called it forth to deliver the letter he composed in an empty classroom on his way. It flew out through the glassless window into the heavy rain shower, allowing him to take his own leave after he threw his hood up to conceal his person from the repulsive weather.

Neko entered the tower, holding her scarf over her face to keep away the smell in the air. Her uncle's owl flew over and sat in front of her. Neko pulled out her wand and put a charm on the paper to protect it from the rain before giving it to the owl. She watched the owl fly off before leaving the owlery with a deep sigh. "I think I'll go to the lake..." She told herself.

Nyssa walked up to the owlry and sat down on the ledge of the window. Blodey flew off her shoulder and went to go perch in the rafters. Nyssa continued to look through the pictures. Not all of them were as recent as she had thought by looking at the first few. They triggered the tears she was still determined to fight but caved in knowing that she was alone. After a while she wiped her eyes and headed back to the common room.

Theo walked in, ducking as an owl almost took off his head. He set Arawn on a perch. "This is where you stay until called for, understand?" He reached into his robes and pulled out a handful of owl crackers and watched the bird hoot and eat them quickly. "I'll have a letter for you later." He turned and left mumbling something about birds and messes.

Blake came up to the tower quietly, clicking his tongue when he entered. One owl flew down, probably the only one who wasn't resting or out hunting, and he gave it a package, "To the Headmaster, please." The owl gave a short hoot, nipping at his hand to tell him he understood, and left to deliver. Looking at the circular room, he felt claustrophobic and started to gasp, running out with his other packages to get some air and go back.. home. Was it even a home anymore? He couldn't say.

Pansy stood waiting for one of the school's owls to come down. Finally she caught the attention of one. It swooped down and landing next to her, sticking out its foot as she attached her letter. She stood and watched as it disappeared and then made her away out of the tower.

Theo walked into the Owlery and whistled for Arawn. The owl hooted and came down from the rafters. "I need you to take this to my father. Deliver it and come back without lingering." He tied the letter to him and nodded. "He's in France at the moment." Arawn hooted again and stretched his wings out before taking off.

Nyssa walked into the owlry and sat down on the window ledge. Blodey flew down and landed on her knee. Nyssa stroked her head while she wrote a letter. After Nyssa finished her letter she debated for a while whether to send it. She folded it up and put it away in her bag, gave Blodey a treat, and then headed back to the Common Room.

Blake sent off the owl to Gavin with a smile, hoping his friend liked his odd assortment of gifts. A birthday was a special day and Blake loved to help any of his friends celebrate it, even from afar. He ran off as fast as he could to make it to his next class, though he had a feeling he'd be a little late.

Ron walked in and stared at the floor in disgust. "Bloody hell. Do they ever clean this place or what?" He grumbled to himself angrily. He carefully marked his steps as to not accidentally stepped on owl droppings or even spiders. He winced slightly. He looks around the floor nervously looking for spiders and when he found it safe,he sat down by the window ledge where it seems to be cleaner and a tad comforting. He sighed. He took out a piece of parchment and began writing, replying all his mother's letters.

Ron had done replying to his mother's letters and lying by quite the end of the letter that he would try to peek into the twins trunk or something. Like hell he would! They would kill him if they knew he had been spying on their things on behalf of their mother. They would make his life a living hell and he dare not cross that line, ever. He sighed. He looks around the owlery and had not saw Errol anywhere. Where's that bloody bird? He groans. He saw a school owl and just as well he would use it. He tied the letters to it's beak and said to it,"To my mum. At The Burrow. I hope you know where." He watched as the bird flew away and not wanting to be smelling of owls droppings and the highly distasteful smell of the owlery,he made his way down.

Theo walked up to the owlery and called for Arawn. Arawn flew down with Bean close behind. "Hello there. I need you to take this letter for me." He pulled out a letter and attached it to Arawn's leg as the owl gave a hoot. He handed both Bean and Arawn a treat before the larger owl hooted again and took off to deliver the message.

Theo walked into the room and whistled for Arawn who came flying down from somewhere in the rafters with Bean close behind. "I need you to deliver this for me." He tied the package to the owl's leg. "Take it to the Ministry." He pulled out a couple of owl treats and handed one to Arawn and one to Bean. "I don't need a response." He waited for Arawn to take off and used his knuckles to pet Bean before making his way out.

Theo went up to the tower and looked for Arawn. He finally whistled and the owl came swooping down landing next to him. "Take this to my father and wait for a reply but stay quite and do not bother him." He attached the letter and gave his feathers a rub. "Off you go." The owl hooted and flew off quickly.
