Amber walked into the owlery while holding Viggo's hand and dragging him behind her "I need to check something" she mumbled as she led him through the line of owls

Viggo followed Amber into the tower and looked around "I have never been in here before" he muttered under his breath as he walked along with her "What do you need to check?" he asked turning his attention back to Amber who was hurrying through the room

Amber looked behind her at Viggo "I've been in here once or twice. But my owl usually is never here" she said turning back around and stopping in front of her black owl "I'm here because I need to send an message to my mother" she said petting the owl

Viggo nodded as he looked at the owl "You know she bite me once" he said with a frown at the memory "I haven't felt the same about her since" he looked around at the owls nearby "So are these all personal owls?"

Amber laughed "I am sure she had a good reason" she smiled then looked around "No, some are school owls actually"

Amber laughed and gave a note to her owl "Take it to mum" she said before turning to Viggo "Do you want to go somewhere else or do you want to hang out here for the rest of the night?" she laughed

Amber laughed "I guess we could go back to the common room?" her face fell when she thought of the picture of going back there

Amber sighed and shook her head "I'm just still moody because of the potions Madam Pomfrey had me taking" she laughed "Let's go" she said putting her arm under his and moving closer to him

Lydia hurried up and borrowed a school owl, sending it off with the folded note and a treat. She watched it take off with a smile and hurried back down.

Lydia returned to the owrly and noticed the owl she'd sent out the night before with a small package. She patted its head and fed it a treat before taking the package and hurrying back down to the room.

Fred borrowed several school owls and attached the letters to the Gryffindors to their legs. Some were willing while many others were not too keen to have their midnight hunt interrupted with post. One even tried to nip at his fingers. "Oy! Do your job and deliver this. Some post owl you are..."
Once he'd finished he ran back down the stairs and returned to the common room to rest.
