"Oh yes" Amber said standing up. She really hadn't been hungry at all.

Pansy stood immediately at her response and walked with her out of the hall.

Draco returned the handshake just as firmly, "Please, please. Draco. Someone whose family, even a part of their family, has been in business with mine for years needs no formalities. I will notify my mother and father in my next letter to them that I have met the son of their most treasured caterer." He took a few more bites of his dinner, sipping his goblet again, "Would you like to take over her business one day?"

"Yes, Mr. Malfoy, I mean Draco," Gavin shook his head at his mistake and pulled his hand away once the handshake was complete. "My mother asked me that question before I left for schooling this year," Gavin said after Draco asked him the question. " I would love to take over the business and continuing my mother's passion, allowing her dream to live on." Talking to Draco was actually... helping Gavin. Gavin realized he did care for his mother and hoped to be like her, despite the fact he only started to form a relationship with her almost four years ago.

Draco nodded thoughtfully, "I see. Tell me, you would not happen to be a pureblood, would you? I seem to find that only pureblooded wizards or witches strive to keep their family businesses alive. For example, many male wizards take over political careers or estates, and many witches follow through with arranged marriages in order to keep the family in honor." Draco watched Gavin, bemused. A flutter of feathers made Draco aware that he had post. He looked at the owl curiously, "You're pretty late to be delivering letters little owl.." It hooted in acknowledgment, nicking a sausage off the plate as Draco took the letter.

Freya saw as Pansy left, noticing her rather perturbed look. She turned to see that Malfoy was talking to the strange Ravenclaw boy. Putting her cat down, she scooted over a few seats, leaned in a little closer to Malfoy so the Ravenclaw could hear and whispered towards them, "I think your presence is making the others uncomfortable... Mr..?"

"I am a pureblood, yes. My father was in Ravenclaw, just as I am," he said, listening to Draco's explanation more, agreeing with what he said, "Ah yes, my parents wedding was rearranged, you are correct," Draco was as correct as he could be with his family. He then saw Freya, "Mr. Gavin Dean, Miss," Gavin acknowledge Freya. "I apologize for making your other classmates feel uncomfortable. Draco and I are transfiguration partners and our families are business partners and we were conversing. Oh, how rude of me," Gavin blanked, "I did not catch your name, Miss..?"

Draco watched as Freya leaned over to whisper to them politely. She was very.. different from he females he was use to being around. In a way, she seemed a bit more refined in her actions and diction, "Ah, Ms. Coeus. How are you today?" Draco heard the flutter of feathers yet again, the same owl returning. "Are you fond of visiting me, little owl?" He took the letter, a reply to the response he sent off not long ago. The owl hooted again, nicking another sausage.

"Miss Coeus, thank you. Just as a fair warning to prevent any ill-will towards you, but if you have any academic business with Malfoy, you might want to place a better meeting spot. You have guts to approach the Slytherin table the way you did, Mister Dean," she replied, leaning away from Draco.
Freya watched as the owl flew away and answered Draco,"I am quite well, Malfoy. And you? You seem quite popular today."

Draco offered to serve Freya a goblet of pumpkin juice as he replied, "I am also doing decently, if not a bit ill from lack of slumber. But that is of my own doing, I can not complain. And I am never popular, Miss Coeus, just in demand."

"Lovely name, Miss Coeus," Gavin nodded at her introduction. "Draco suggested I come to the Slytherin table to meet up with him, and that is what he wanted to I came to him," Gavin said as his response. "It is school work, other Slytherins have to pair up with other house members, I'm sure it is okay for assignment matters."

Amber walked back to the Syltherin table, she had left her bag. "Of course" she muttered before going and grabbing the bag. She put her letters into the bag.

Leaving the pumpkin juice in its place, Freya got up and put her book bag on her shoulder. "Ah, yes, Transfiguration. I still need a partner for that," she said. She straightened out her clothing and watched as her cat went off to explore again.
"I'm off to the common room, Malfoy. Good day, Dean," she bowed her head slightly at the both of them. "Potions homework," Freya explained quickly and left for the common room.
