Draco slowly chewed on a piece of toast, not having much strength to do anything but he was hungry.

Freya took a seat away from the others, and placed her book bag next to her. She still wasn't used to everyone else around her, she'd ease into it. Glancing around she saw Draco and huffed in agitation of the prior night, then took a sip of tea.

Draco glanced up from his plate and saw Freya. He just gave her a nod, turning his head when he heard a flutter of feathers. It seemed he had post.

Amber walked in the great hall and took a seat at the syltherin table. Near, she saw Freya "Hi Freya" Amber called with a smile before turning to her own food. Amber also saw Draco but thought it was best not to disturb him.

She looked up to see the owls dropping off the Daily Prophet and caught hers. She opened it up and began to read when a rather large cat jumped onto the table, spilling her tea all over her lap. "Vali!!" she exclaimed throwing her hands up as the cat purred with glee.
Freya, slightly red with embarrassment, stuttered," ah h-hello, good day.." as she tried to dry the tea off her skirt.

Draco, halfway through reading his response from the headmaster, stood. He'd have to make a notification to all Slytherin students before he left on his patrol. He saw Freya, flustered with herself, and flicked his wand her way, "Evanesco." The tea would be gone but drying her skirt would be a different matter. Thinking she wouldn't appreciate such an action, he left the hall to allow her or one of her female housemates to do it. He resisted the urge to ask her about the cat.

Griffin sat down at the Slytherin table and picked up a roll. As he sunk his teeth into it his stomach lunged. It was so good, he needed the food.

After eating a little Griffin got up. He thought about heading over to the Ravenclaw table to see if he could mess with them more but decided against it.

The tea disappeared in a puff and Freya looked towards Malfoy as he put his wand away. She calmed down and put on the nicest expression she could. "Thank you, Malfoy," she said, turning her attention back to her cat. Freya held the front paws of her cat, his long, poofy tail swishing merrily. "Vali, you really shouldn't jump up on the table like that.." she tutted as the cat purred.

Draco took his seat at the head of the table and began to serve himself pumpkin juice and a hearty plate of a variety of foods. His hunger knew no bounds currently speaking.

Gavin felt a little uneasy going towards the Slytherin table. Although he is from Slytherin blood on his mother's side... it wasn't enough for approval, as far as he thought. He saw Draco sitting down eating and debated if he should go there during his meal. But Draco did tell him to meet him at the Great Hall, and what transfiguration partner would he be if he did not show up? "Hello, Draco," Gavin greeted him and sat down near him, but not too close to him.

Griffin came charging into the Great Hall shortly after Draco. He sat down in a seat somewhat nearby Draco and tried to catch his breath before eating. "Tried... to catch up to you... hungry... didn't want to get... caught alone," he said in between gasps of breath.

Draco stopped in the middle of chewing his current bite of steamed and slightly crisped potatoes, looking up at the sound of a very unfamiliar voice. He swallowed to speak, "Mr. Dean. I see you have taken my request to heart," he said in reference to his reply to Gavin's request in Transfiguration. Draco set his fork down and settled his laced hands in front of him on the edge of the table, "What can I do for you, Mr. Dean? And I insist you refer to me as Mr. Malfoy. I do hope your parents taught you manners when addressing an acquaintance." Draco tossed Griffin an inquisitive look, "Are you quite alright, Black?"
