Theo looked at her curiously. "You cook? Don't believe I've ever had anything that wasn't made by a house-elf. That's very impressive. I envy you for getting the time to travel and enjoy it.

Draco followed Blake's example with the exception of the napkin, "I've been well, though tired. Patrolling the halls is a daily activity, but with the times now, it has to be done far more extensively and vigorously. As long as the Dementors don't somehow wander into the school, I think I'll be fine."

Blake shuddered at the mention of the Dementors somehow making their way into the school. To encounter them would be the death of a lot of students who couldn't fight them off, "I would think the Ministry is getting closer to finding Sirius Black with all the recent sightings."

Amber laughed and nodded "My grandmother from my mother's side could never settle on a house elf so after a while she gave up and done things herself. She eventually taught me to cook after she did. My mum & father were of course, furious" Amber said with a laugh.

Theo listened to her nodding. "I'm sure you are a fantastic cook. I've just never heard of anyone actually doing it."

Amber laughed "I'm okay for a wizard that is" she paused "So what do you enjoy?" she asked.

Draco made a sound of agreement as he swallowed his bite of sausage, "Ah, well. As competent as Aurors may be, they may get more sightings than just our own. A spreading of forces like that is the least ideal thing in war or searching for a convict."

Blake nodded and sipped his tea. He set down his cup on the saucer and reached for a fork when an unknown owl flew down and sat on his shoulder. Startled, he looked to it and found a letter in its beak.

Theo smirked. "Reading mostly but from time to time I enjoy making a bit of trouble." He laughed looking over to where Draco was seated. He took another bite of food. "I grew up on my own with tutors and elves. That is why I'm usually found in corners or in the library. I find my pleasure in books and in my imagination. Dreadfully boring, I know."

Draco chuckled at the owl's actions, "It seems you have a friend."

Amber nodded then laughed "I don't find it boring. It's better than having to travel all the time and when you are actually home, your house is filled with people you do not know because your mum is obsessed with throwing parties" Amber rolled her eyes "And ah yes I seem to have noticed you like trouble" she said with a small laugh.

Amber then remembered "Oh I also take great interest in learning new languages. It comes in handy when traveling. Do you know any different languages?" Amber asked.

Taking the letter and setting it down, Blake reached for a sliver of bacon and offered it up to the bird who took it with a small hoot of what he assumed was a thank you. With a tinkling laugh, he cleaned his hands on the napkin on his lap and reached up a second time to stroke the owl, "Tell your master or mistress thank you for the letter." The owl hooted again and left his shoulder in flight.

"I should probably stop for at least a little while. Taking out Draco and Pansy in almost the same day isn't good foe once health," he responded. "I think I might enjoy having people around the manor. It's just been father and I since I can remember."

Curiously, Draco glanced to the letter as he returned to his plate. "Who sent you post? I would think if it was your parents you would know their owl."
