Gavin nodded, "yes, it is delicious. So much better than ice cream," he said and took a bite, "fruit and ice is the best thing!" he looked at Griffin, "nope. You weren't intruding."

Griffin smiled and began to grab some food. "Well that's good. I'd hate to interrupt you two in the middle of something. So how are you?" he asked Gavin.
Griffin nodded. "Well I might take you up on that," he said to Amira, looking at the two with a smile.

Gavin nodded, "I'd love to go to Madamm Puddifoots," he said with a smile, then answered Griffin's question, "I'm full!" He said, "dinner was delicious."

Griffin nodded at Gavin as he took a bite of chicken. He wiped his mouth and looked at Gavin. "Well that's good. I must say, the food here is always delicious. I haven't eaten all day," he said as he bit into the chicken again. He didn't want to appear as a slob in front of Gavin, he cared what he thought about it him for some strange reason.

"Really? You haven't eaten all day? I don't see how anybody could do that. It isn't healthy," Gavin said and finished his sorbet, and his dishes disappeared. "So, Mr. Black, what brings you to the Ravenclaw table?" he asked out of curiosity, not trying to sound rude.

Griffin swallowed his bite and looked at Gavin. "Well I actually slept through most of the day. Things happened last night and I didn't get much sleep. Anyways as to your question, it's because there were no Slytherins in the Great Hall and I know Amira." He looked over at the Slytherin table. "Please don't find me rude but I would feel awful if I let my two housemates be by themselves." He got up and extended a hand with a warm smile. "I must part ways with you now, please don't find me rude. It was nice talking to you," he said with a charismatic smile and turned to walk towards the Slytherin table.

Gavin nodded slowly, surprised at his sudden departure. "It was nice speaking to you," Gavin slowly said, confused. He shook Griffin's hand and smiled. As soon as Griffin left, Gavin quickly made his way to the Ravenclaw common room.

Gavin sat down at the Ravenclaw table, his cat Zolo by his side. He collected some food from the table to eat. He looked around to see if any Ravenclaws would be joining him.

Effy came into the Great Hall and saw Gavin at the Ravenclaw table. She walked over and sat across from him. "Hey, Gavin," she said, "what's up?"
