Griffin came into the Great Hall and noticed it was deserted except for the Ravenclaw table. He walked over to see if he could join them. "Hi Amira," he said warmly. "May I er, join you?" he asked noticing the boy sitting with Amira.

Gavin saw Griffin and frowned slightly. He was enjoying his alone time with Amira, although he couldn't really call it "alone time" they were in a public place, and this wasn't much of a date. He turned his head away and pretended not to notice and gathered some sherbet for dessert.

Griffin smiled as he sat down next to Gavin and across from Amira. "I hope I'm not intruding," he said, looking at Amira then Gavin. He didn't know what it was about this boy there was something about him that Griffin liked.
