David found a spot near Effy and Amira. He guided a few younger students over to them, so they would be close to older students, as Gavin had suggested.

Gavin walked between the isle of Ravenclaw students, making sure the first and second years were ready for sleep, "please go to bed," he said, "please do not talk. I understand it will be hard to sleep, but know that you are safe here. Nobody will allow any of you to get hurt, " he reassuringly said.

"Effy,it's like a giant sleepover. Well except with 11 and 12 year olds. And the headmaster" She saw a group of younger Ravenclaws and motioned for them to come near her.

Lydia smiled and knelt down. She yawned and sighed. "I'm going back to sleep I think." She rubbed her eyes. The excitement had taken its toll. "Goodnight."

"Night" Amber mumbled. She waved at the few people from Ravenclaw that she had spoken to earlier tonight. She looked back at Pansy "I'll never be able to sleep"

"Amira, please, don't say anything that makes fun of the younger kids," Gavin said to Amira, "now is not the time." After majority of students were settled, Gavin went over by the group of younger kids, and the one who was crying and lay down to go to sleep.

Pansy spelled a piece of paper and sent it across the hall to Griffin. Get over here with us now! It read.
She looked to Amber. "I know, me too."

Blake settled in a relatively secluded area in between the second years and third years. He wished he knew where Freya was.

Amber watched the paper fly across the room with amusement. "He probably thinks we are mad at him" Amber mumbled crossing her legs. "When we are not" She added.

Lydia smiled a bit. "Don't stay up too late ladies. Try to sleep at least. Remember, the Headmaster said we're safe." She set her head down and closed her eyes. She was only able to sleep because she was still half asleep from before.

Amira stuck her tongue out and started talking to the younger girls. Most were really afraid but held their composure. She helped them settle down and told them they were safe.

Griffin read the paper and crumpled it up. I couldn't do that... he thought. Not only did he know that they wouldn't appreciate his presence, but it hadn't taken Neko too long to fall asleep. As much as he wanted to join his friends, he felt like he couldn't.

Professor Lupin walked over to the Headmaster, "I'll go search the grounds. He should come out if I call for him." Lupin pulled his wand out of his cloak and walked swiftly out of the Great Hall and onto the grounds.

Walking quietly in, Professor Sinistra walked in the Great Hall, as she made a beeline for the Headmaster. She was composing a mental apology for being so late in her mind.
At the same time, she noticed that many students were looking at her and she smiled at them, with a tight controlled smile.
