"Thanks Fred!" she said arranging the sticks under her cauldron "Incendio"

Theo looked over to the potion and thought for a moment. "You put in two beetle eyes and it's supposed to be three. Add another."

Blake smiled apologetically to Emery, "I'm sorry, I just get protective around potions, they're your things and you have right to treat them however you would like." He thanked Fred and went to gather stones, making a hearth with a hollow pit and filling it with wood. He lit it with a simple Lacarnum Inflamarae and set his prepared cauldron over it, beginning to follow the steps in his mind and writing down things every so often as he hummed to himself.

Emery shifted his gaze from Blake to Fred and was still very confused as to what they were doing. He nudged Fred and mumbled, "Oh stuff it, what exactly are we doing? I'm a bit out of the loop since I've been sleeping."

"ohhh..." She nodded and added another. "Potions is not my best subject." She admitted lightly.

"Moon flower healing potion." Nyssa answered Emery without looking up from her potion.

Theo mumbled something that sounded like "It's fine" and concentrated on his work, writing down notes as he went.

"Mhm. No problem, Nyssa." He tapped his wand on the table and a shallow depression formed under his cauldron. He placed a couple of sticks in the depression and lit them with his wand. He turned to Emery. "Ugh, I'm not sure. Here, it starts on page 673. We're making a healing potion with this flower we collected last night."

He whispered a thank you to the nice girl in his group, he never formally introduced himself. He'll do that later when he isn't so confused.
Emery mimicked what everyone else seemed to have done. The cauldron setting-up, and flame-lighting, and what not. His face contorted to confusion when he saw the instructions on the page of his potions book. Potions wasn't exactly his best subject, the last incident he had was the potion itself basically exploding in his face.

The headmaster looked over his list of ingredients for the potion.
2 Moonflower petals 3 black beetle eyes 3 drops liquefied wormwood 1 ounce frog's blood 1 chopped flobberworm 1 chopped wockes root 1 pinch ginger root 1 ounce essence of moonstone
It was a basic enough potion.

Lydia nodded and looked over the instructions again, working to add the wormwood. She took notes, tilting her head a bit. "I suppose we need to be careful. Isn't moonflower poisonous?"

Blake turned to his cutting board with his gloves on and selected his sharpest knife to chop the flobberworm swiftly. He continued in his work still humming softly to himself.

Nyssa started cutting up her flobberworm. The fairy was proving very helpful putting the pieces in a pile.

"Can be," he said as he chopped and stirred at the same time watching the potion carefully adding a an extra stir in at just the right time.
