Blake flipped through his book and set it aside for reference, placing a a few sheets of parchment on the table and his quill and inkwell to take notes of his progress. He looked to Nyssa and noticed the adorable fairy nestled in her hair, "Oh, you have a little friend, do you? And a very darling one at that. How do you do little miss?"

Fred beamed. He got out his potions book and set it down. He removed his second-hand pewter cauldron and cast an engorgement charm, having had ample practice with that spell when he developed his Ton-Tongue Toffees. He looked inside and made sure it was clean. He got out his scales and set them down. "Yeah, but still. George is better at potions than me. I do more of the transfiguration work. Even if it is a basic healing potion, I doubt I'll get it perfect. I usually end up close, at best. I can tell you right now, Madam Pomfrey would be mad to give my healing potion to anyone." he said with a laugh.

"That I do!" she said smiling. The fairy flew over to Blake and shook one of his fingers with both of her hands before flying back to Nyssa.

Lydia set up her things as she read. She scratched her head a bit looking confused before reading on. "Oh..." She mumbled to herself. She smiled and got to work, preparing the ingredients slowly to prevent any mixups.

Blake reached over and patted Fred on the hand comfortingly, "Your best is your best, you'll do fine Fred." He gave a tinkling laugh when the fairy shook his hand, "Well it's lovely to meet you too, little miss."

Emery stumbled out into the campsite next to Fred and clumsily dropped his potions things onto the table. "Afternoon," he said, yawning and adjusting his glasses, "I miss anything really important?"

Blake gave an appalled gasp, "Emery! Watch how you handle your potions kit! It's a precious thing, you know."

Taken aback by Blake's passion for the potions kit, he set them up correctly in a delicate manner. "Sorry, mate," he said, scratching the back of his head, his eyes turning a dark shade of brown, "I just woke up and I'm not really coherent right now."

"Oh, hello Emery. I thought you died. I was going to poke you, but I didn't feel like dirtying my wand." he said with a laugh. He flipped through his potions book, stopping anytime he saw the word "healing". After a couple of tries, he found the one that used moonflower. He saw they'd be needing fire. "I'll go collect some firewood for us." He pointed his wand up at the smaller branches of the trees and cast diffindo several times. He then walked off into the woods to collect the sticks.

Theo started adding the ingredients to the potion, carefully stirring and waiting for the correct signs before moving on to the next step. He added his own tricks he had learned, making sure to note what he had done in order to improve the potion from the basic directions. He had practiced this potion many times at his manor.

Lydia gave a look of frustration. "Theo what am I doing wrong?" She looked over. "It's not changing like it's supposed to."

Fred returned with a large bundle of sticks hovering in the air infront of him. He loved magic. He saw no reason to do anything manually that could be done with magic. He lowered the bundle under their table, so that everyone would have access to it.
